    You know why

    • +6

      No, not one!

      • +1

        Get away from my DORTORR!

      • +2

        I just want… one pack!

    • +1

i dont know why. do you know why

  • -8

    Oh FFS

  • Delivery still showing ?

  • These are $24.95 per pack of 45 rolls.

    • I think the description is a bit clumsy. It's $22.03 with SS (subscribe and Save).

EDIT: Nope, doesn't look like it is SS eligible. Just the wrong price.

      • Wasn't wrong price. Was listed originally for $22.03 then price changed to $24.95 then quickly out of stock again.

  • -4

    This is showing 24??

    • Price increased to $24.95 after I posted it.

  • Slightly more expensive than previous listings when stock was available (was previous listed as $19 or $17.10 with S&S)

Price jacked even further. $24.95 now.

    • I edited the title. Seems like $22.03 with Prime membership or $24.95 without.

      • -8

I have Prime and it's showing me $24.95

        • +21

Why are you downvoting me. They changed the price relax. I bought it for $22.03. Price updated again sheesh

          • +4

@Lucille Bluth: Can confirm, saw it for $22.03 when first posted.

            • +1

@HomeAlone: 0.55c a roll is reasonable for this TP when not on sale.
Costco sells it for 50c a roll everyday
i would not consider this price jacking in any way

                • +3

@HomeAlone: Prices on Amazon fluctuate all the time - where have you been?

                • +3

@HomeAlone: Amazon uses a surge system like Uber etc
It will have a sale price at listing and will increase up to RRP as demand increases, it happens all the time
Again increasing the price to RRP imho is not jacking, increasing it to well above RRP would be price jacking

            • @HomeAlone: It was also the cheapest available at time of posting for that quantity and Kleenex brand.

You know Amazon uses dynamic pricing too right? 10 cent increase per roll seems unremarkable

              • -2

                @Lucille Bluth: I prefer Quilton.

Coles has 36-packs for $14. They aren't kept on the shelves though. You have to ask for 1 and they bring it out for you.
Local store got 60 pallets worth yesterday.

                • +1

@HomeAlone: Well I prefer Kleenex. And this is an Amazon deal not Coles.

Most of what you just wrote is irrelevant.

Evident in fact mods removed your neg

                • +3

                  @HomeAlone: 60 pallets … LOL

            • +1

@HomeAlone: Maybe you should find out what "price jacking" means before using it in an attempt to appear clever. This is not "price jacking."

          • @Lucille Bluth: Downvotes are for deals, not posters. This doesn't really stack up when you can grab 9 rolls for $4 at Coles on Wednesday (well, if there's stock on the shelves, of course).

    • +3

Not jacked at all, this is the regular "not on sale" price

    • +3

Why downvote and call it price jacking? The price increased after the lot was sold. That's how retail works.

  • +21

I am worrying about elder people who don't use online shopping, also slow when going to super market to buy one, at the moment it is out of stock everywhere. That's why I only buy one pack, please people, share to others.

    • +6

More people buying it online = better chance of elderly people being able to get it in the supermarket.

      • -2

Hope so, but in reality online shoppers still go to supermarket to have it in 30mins, instead waiting 1 day for delivery.

  • +6

Not sure why the posting is getting negged, unless for pricing.

The hoarders have left nil stock in supermarkets making it difficult for people to get regular supplies.

    Atleast something……

  • +49

Seriously stop promoting this stupid panic that is causing difficulty on some people’s lives that require special needs.

    • +15

I don't see how posting a deal contributes to panic.

      • +3

dont worry dude people are just butt hurt

        • +4

I guess that's what happens when you can't get tp and have to resort to newspaper.

    • +1

This isn't going to suddenly stop stock going on the shelf at your local coles…

    • 45 rolls will only last me a few days man, this deal is vital.

    • Stop b!tching about people panicking, panic buying done it damage. Now poor people who actually needing are suffering as a result.
You like it or not this is a good deal unless you prepared to line up at 6am or searching from them on every single shop.

  • +1

Crazy to think some people aren’t buying 10 years worth of toilet paper

    • +10

True. Factories running extra shifts to support more production but it's not like consumption is increasing. So when everyone has bought 6 months of toilet paper, the factories will be under-capacity once the panic is over.

      • +1

Saw on the news yesterday that they are actually losing money because of this round the clock schedule due to overtime rates and increased work shifts. Since they haven't increased the price now they have a vested interest in stemming the demand.

        • Highly unlikely.

The biggest cost is the machinery. Reporters just making up news.

They wouldn't have increased production to lose money

          • @greatlamp: Yes, there's a huge upside for the media to just make that up. Of course.

            • @mickeyjuiceman: The media benefits from fear and fear mongering. The more fear and chaos, the more people watch the news, click on sites etc. to stay informed. The more eyeballs on screen, the higher the ad $$$ get.

I read that the whole toilet paper frenzy started from a twisting of the truth from channel 7 news.

From now on I will only ever watch ABC news and never watch channel 7 news again.

      • And that’s when OZBargainers start buying… until then there is Herald Sun and Age Newspapers are available everyday!

  • +3

My supplies are all good but my work mates are desperate so this was a life saver for them
    Good find OP

  • out of stock

  • Went out of stock as I tried to checkout :\

    • +3

everyone have their own arms and legs, let them get it for themselves. otherwise I might as well stock it for the rest of Australia and not myself so I can sell when the corona zombies come.

      • -3

I'm giving some away, not selling them!

  • -7

I think the mods need to ban toilet paper deals for a month or two. At this stage its only feeding into the panic of retards and takes away from people that actually need it most.

Also this is on the expensive side.

    • +2

You dont think that if people are buying it at this price, maybe they actually need some and cant get any?

      • No, it's only for brodens.

      • +5

If you genuinely need some you will buy it and i am not pointing fingers at those people. My post is aimed at people stocking up "just in case". Just in case of what? Your panic thoughts your spreading actually becoming true?

          • +2

@dingdong3000: That is not what your initial post said, you backtracked after getting downvoted.

            • -4

@[Deactivated]: Like i said i don't care about downvotes. I didn't say i was stocking up for my own personal gain or use in fact i don't need to give a reason why. People always assume but there are good humans out there!

    • its was slightly less than RRP then went up to RRP

    • +1

Great idea Ruff for a product that people are actually trying to find with no supply and great demand .
      Learn the times !

    • -2

Show me a link where you can buy that quantity of in stock Kleenex toilet paper at that price.

      Otherwise invalid use of neg.

      • +6

You might as well report my clean ass on a expired deal Mr Internet Police.

  • -2

LOL Lets post more expensive items

    • +1

Show me a link where you can buy that quantity of in stock Kleenex toilet paper at that price.

      • +4

This website is called Ozbargain. Not OzMoreExpensive

        • -6

          You avoided my question

Show me a link where you can buy that quantity of in stock Kleenex toilet paper at that price.

It is a bargain if you can't find it cheaper instock online.

          Invalid use of neg.

          • +2

@Lucille Bluth: Cmon Man its not hard

            • -3

@Pab23q: Good luck getting it delivered by Wednesday with most delivery windows unavailable.

              Also not the same quantity

              • @Lucille Bluth:

Good luck getting it delivered by Wednesday with most delivery windows unavailable.

Going by how many people buy from aliexpress/chinese dropshippers, the delivery time frame isn't an issue. I don't think many people upvote an amazon price just because they can get it tomorrow instead of next week. And that's the crux of it here - the price.. if it's available somewhere else for cheaper then this isn't really a bargain. Perhaps a public service announcement?

          • +3

@Lucille Bluth: Quilton even cheaper…. tonnes of stock at Maq Center coles

        • It is a bargain though coz it was in stock.

          • +2

            @Hirolol: LoL 'Oziteminstockforaverageprice'

      • +3

Show me a link where you can buy that quantity of in stock Kleenex toilet paper at that price.

You can say that for any item, all the time.

By your logic the RRP of any item classifies as a bargain as long as it's not on special somewhere else, and wouldn't that be a waste of time?

This is not a particularly good price, and it is often cheaper. Does the post serve a purpose to let people know Toilet Paper is back in stock? Sure, is it a bargain? No.

  • I think they've run out!!

  • +12

Getting sick of Negs who don't know the landscape of 1 limit at most major supermarkets and NO STOCK .
I've been out and witnessed it first hand .
Or learn the no toilet paper market prices ( actually double OP price ) environment at least in the short term .
WD OP best deal in this category on OZb so far today .

    • +4

Was at my local coles at 7.45 this morning.
They have a 1 per person limit and were already sold out

    • -1

I too been out and witness first hand how difficult and limit is to obtain TP. In this current climate it's a good deal and I'm not stocking for myself either. I'm giving them out to my colleagues in desperate need, yet people on here Neg for my generosity.. I don't care whatever

      • pffff

        • Actually i didn't plan on getting them until they told me bout the stress in getting any, where they live.. I told them will look out online and if i saw any bulk would give away for those in need.

    • +3

A good ozBargainer never runs out of TP.

Some folks still have caches of TP from the days when Woolworths allowed unlimited coupon stacking and a carload was worth about $4 lol

      • +3

Yeah, I call it the Toilet Paper theory.

My theory is (was) that wealthier people, on average, pay less for essentials such as toilet paper, because they stock up when items are on sale. They can afford to buy 2 or 3 packs when they’re cheap, rather than someone who can’t afford to buy items “just because they’re on sale”, heading into the store when you need it, and paying full price!

Interesting how that theory has come to show itself now, more than ever!

        • +1

On average I think you are right, also applies to negotiating low interest \ finance rates \ discounts, paying late fees.
Can be very difficult for broke people to get ahead, late payment and interest rates are killers, especially financing the basics.

Orhun and Palazzolo a couple of years ago:

          https://www.theatlantic.com/business/archive/2016/05/privile…

They found that high-income households (those making $100,000 or more a year) bought their toilet paper on sale 39 percent of the time, whereas
low-income households (those making $20,000 or less a year) only did so 28 percent of the time. High-income households were also more likely to buy more rolls of toilet paper at a time, which meant not only that they were saving money on each roll, but that they didn’t have to make as many trips to the store. “Low income households,” Orhun and Palazzolo write, “are less likely to utilize these strategies even though they have greater incentives to do so.”

    • Agree, last 3 visits to the local shops I wasn't able to find any. 2 of those were before 8am and I can't really get their earlier.
The queue at Aldi was 20+ and I don't even know if they had stock as they hadn't opened yet.
In-laws are a bit stressed because they are low. Thanks to this post, we can share a pack. Only grabbed 1.

Yeah, not a bargain, more of a community service announcement.

      Thanks Op

  • +7

Sounds like this deal has been Completely Kleened Out

  • +14

Online sales of TP should be banned.

Want to see more women punching on at Coles and Wollies over TP on the news.

Life is TP, TP is life

  • +4

This is one of the worst toilet papers out there. Garbage quality

    • agree I think it used to be good though. now it leaves white dust.
