Just remember you take a significant speed hit repeating a wifi signal.
2nd router is always better, unless you have a system designed to mesh, or a need to use identical ssid's
Yeah I'm in a granny flat so can't run an extra cable from the main router. :(

Different circuit, sadly. It's a double garage that's actually separate from the main house, so no chance.
@kwchaz: You'd be surprised, it's worth a try.
Even on different circuits, so long as there's no powerpole tranformer in the way, often they still manage to work; I've had them work in separate houses down the street!
Mesh runs over wifi. You only need a power point.
How do you run a second router ?
Some low end mesh routers can do better job
I have this, just be aware it does take up a lot of space on the power outlet. Stops me from using the other outlet, at least that's my case. Works well though.
