Thanks for the list of providers. ALDI prepaid is ok? Got to go to someone soon off Telstra so eligible for deals.
Yes, ALDI is ok
this is the 64gb variant only
Same story? Can cancel after paying out 6 months plan fee?
is the early termination charge 6 months now??
$65x6=390
So minimum is $499+$390 = $889
@chew_chew: No cancellation fee after 6 months?
How can people cope without a card slot and only 64gb?
Easily - don't hoard media on your phone.
Keep a collection of music that you listen to regularly on your phone, but stream everything else. Offload your photos and videos to the cloud automatically.
There's still plenty of room for hundreds of app, some offline movies, reference documents and whatever else you might need.
Could not agree more, I feel like those that complain about storage must live a very cluttered life. If you're on top of your phone and organised, I don't see how 64gb isn't enough in this day and age.
My last phone was a 128GB model and in 2 years of use I never needed more than 50GB. So I figured I'd save the money and get the cheaper model this time.
I absolutely hate clutter on my phone, so it gets regular app deletions and download folder purges so I can find the stuff I actually need more easily
I honestly don't need more than 64GB.
I mean, I don't watch Netflix on my phone so I'm not sure if you've got the whole of GoT or something downloaded, but in 2 years I'm comfortably around 50-55GB without having to worry about storage constraints.
I don't even delete old screenshots/photos that are useless.yup, no card slot, no deal
Note 10 also available for same price. Non + variant.
Is this a deal after the non XL $199 Pixel deal?
$300 more for the XL Model doesn't look great with 4a & 5 arriving soon (ish)Pixel 4a is likely to launch soon, but very unlikely to have the specs/features of a 4XL.
Pixel 5 is probably 6 months away.
Just saw that… what a cracker deal, and I though the P30 was the best!!
This JB 12 months plan deal keep throwing out surprise. I can use an old say about how man look at woman to describe these JB deals; "These will never be a best but always a better one!"
Where did you find pixel for $199, do you mind sharing?
There was an offer a few months ago on the $65 plan where the pixel was $199 when you ported in. Pretty sure is very much expired.
Exactly my feeling, wife got the $199 deal
now my previous contract has expired I am looking for another bargain
but all phone+plan deals are like $599 upfront
guess i will just wait for the 4a
(for now i can't live without a fingerprint sensor tbh)I'm in the same boat! Really need the fingerprint and 128 is what I've become used to having…
Not bad. Considering goes for cir. $800 on fleabay less fees.
Can't find any for less than $1000
Isn’t the Vodafone deal still better than this? You end up with a pixel 4 64gig for around $530 outright.
Which vodafone deal?
4 and 4xl aren't the same phone
Agree with krammis76 if you don't want to be tide to a contract.
Having said that if you can get Tekstra 24X7 to transfer you to Telstra BYO and give you a port in credit, then your monthly bill become $40 with the 60G plan. It also comes with POM data too.
so 499+480=979 For a Pixel 4 on a 60G data with POM. Not a bad deal at all.
The P30 deal from JB still the best we have so far due to the good timing with Huawei giving away that $200 gift card. Having said that that phone price is one of the fastest drop I had seen. It was barely a year and was about 1K to buy with ebay deal. It is now just over $600 Brand new. Not that i care as I got mine free on the JB deal but sorry for those who pay outright.
What do you say to Telstra to get the plan change and port credit?
What is POM?
Peace of Mind… Throttled but unlimited data after you've used up all your alloted data
How is this deal not voted up more. So cheap for a pixel 4xl.
Cant access if you are an existing Telstra, Belong or Boost customer.
Might want to update title to include "when porting from other provider"
