Just was in the market for a new webcam and after a little digging, managed to find this deal. It is the cheapest price in Australia I could find. Cheapest on Shopbot and Staticice is $89.00. Cheapest from Amazon US is $59US + shipping. Great deal for a 'pro' level webcam. This item was listed here in July but got buried under all the other Logitech specials at the time. Free delivery is a bonus.

Works with Skype, MSN Messenger Video, Yahoo Messenger, Youtube, Facebook, etc. Good compatibility list.

    I bought the Logitech webcam pro 9000, but I wonder if I should upgrade to this one?

    Well I bought 2 because my parents and I have high speed cable, hopefully 1080P will be smooth. Reviews seem favorable. It has 4.5 stars on Amazon so that has to be good I think. I got it because it is compatible with most 3rd party video chatting software.

      I don't think it does video conferencing in 1080p..you can record in 1080 and video conference with a max reso of 720p

    Yes you are correct, my bad. 1080P video recording. This one has glass optics too rather than plastic so should be a lot clearer too. (glass optics is the main reason for me to buy this model)

    Just got this webcam from the US about a month ago, couldn't be happier.
    It's a great web cam, even in low light conditions, and that's a great price!
