why you so salty?
I didn’t get a proper sleep from eating too many salty things before bed
I personally can't tell the difference but lotsa chefs and home cooks swear by this stuff
The vast majority can’t. It’s more to do with how coarse it is.
I use the fancy stuff in small quantities more for its textural qualities than taste e.g. sprinkle on top of a choc chip cookie for a salty crunch. Any time the salt is being dissolved you're totally wasting it.
Definitely worth it for a good steak, pork belly/crackle or something like that. Nice big hit of salt.
You can eat a flake of this on its own and it's quite nice, certainly tolerable, unlike many table salts.
NaCl = NaCl
Maldon is nice when you want some nice crunchy pieces of salt on your tomato and mozzarella salad, or similar.

sous vide salt 😂
My concern with sea salt is microplastics, I think it will become more of an issue over time
Meh, nothing beats Celtic salt.
TLDR…NO, it’s all just salt
No doubt there’ll be exaltation on how pink salt, black salt, etc are better for you due to <insert minuscule trace element> nope, it’s basically all just salt. It tastes good.
