Nice price on a K5 Karcher, doesn't include patio cleaner. 12 month warranty with Karcher directly (normally up 5-7 years). Bunnings sell it with patio cleaner for $699. Pricing puts it cheaper than a K4 at $482.

Considering how easily a pressure washer carks it, I wouldn't trust a refurb.
After owning a number of karchers I wouldn't risk it either. All of them croaked within 1-2 years of minimal use. I have gerni now I like it alot better.
My Karcher K3 AU gets a workout every second weekend for a couple of hours (Cleanest car in the street ;P!) had for 2 years and still going strong. Have killed a K2 and a budget Gerni before. Even had an old Bosch that shot fragments of pump out the side, but I can't kill this damn K3
Yeah I went through about 3 different models, 2 just stopped and one started smoking mid use (this was when they had short warranties). I bought the gerni because it was on sale, I thought I'll just try something new and it had a five year warranty which I think is more standard now. It has more metal fittings etc vs the karchers I've had which I like. To be fair I would probably buy a karcher again now if they have the five year warranty. I've still kept all the bits incase that happens one day!
Both are good, but you get what you pay for sadly
Great deal, too bad the very short warranty sort of kills it for me.
