No doubt price Jack will be in for most of these suppliers. I guess we will have to wait and see what eventuates as usual.

    Fleabay selling.

    • +6

I feel like there is some aggressiveness here….

    • Just add 10% to the normal selling price.

    • +2

I was wondering how long it would take for the first price jacking comment… not long

    • +1

      hmmmmmmmmmmmm

  • +17

feel like giving ebay deals like this a negative until ebay comes up with a search function!
lucky its only 72 sellers and not 200

    • Someone always posts a search link

      • +8

yeah but last time they had 250 sellers, we needed 3 search links (cause you cant have too many sellers in the search) that's annoying!

      • +7

        Yes, we're often very fortunate.
Perhaps eBay should reward them for doing eBay's work.

      • +7

It's lazy on eBay's part. We're trying to give them business but they shoot themselves in the foot.

    • Its may be Taobao copied ebay 10 years ago, but Taobao now is much ahead, I still don't understand by now, ebay can't figure out a search/categorization feature for those major retailers?

  • +1

    still no baby bunting :(

    • +11

Better not have a baby then.

      • +8

We have heaps of them and they aren't a bargain.

  • -4

any good tv deals or only from Sony…

    • +6

Have a look and get back to us

    • +5

How did your last slave die?

    • /votes good deal

      /asks if any good deals

  • +5

The usual suspects except for this "new seller" ;-)

    Goodbye 20%.

    • +19

Don’t lose hope. There’s one coming soon!

      • +1

Excellent! Any chance it will apply to TGG or Bing Lee?

        • Selected sellers unfortunately.

      • +1

        Is BingLee included? :D

        beat me 15secs earlier ^

      • +2

Don't post any 15% off deals so that 20% one has to come up.

      • Awesome..any hint, how soon?

      • Waiting for 20% off TGG / Bing Lee. A lot on my shopping list ready to hit "buy"!

      • Hard to get excited when they all have $300 caps, anyway.

      • +1

Great to know. Dcxpert is one shop that actually does not price jack; was kicking myself originally for not picking up a lens I wanted when it was still 20%.

        • -1

not really, they do sometimes on some popular items

          • +1

@qzcbmo: Really? Surprised to hear that. Every time I've looked (eg. the 105mm 1.4 or the 150-600mm) price has always stayed consistent.

            • +1

@basketballfreak6: Sigma 18-35 or the APS-C trio sometimes change. But I would think might because of the exchange rate.

              • @qzcbmo: Yea I'd be inclined to think so too. The guy that owns an astro shop that I know says prices from his suppliers are about to go up because of exchange rate :(

                • +1

@basketballfreak6: Mate your hobby are expensive!

                  • @qzcbmo: Lol no telescope and just a cheap EQ mount for me…

My willpower will be truly tested when Canon R5 gets released later in the year though

        • Yep, agreed. Great service from DCXpert!

  • +7

They going to need to offer bigger discounts if they want people to part with their money in these uncertain times

  • -1

No wonder I saw Jack looking fairly happy today..

  • +10

    Selected price jackers

  • Jack? Is that you??

    • +4

      Yes its me :)

      • +4

        IMPOSTER!

        • +4

Can't we all just get along?!

  • +1

    Switch sellers?

    • +1

I'm looking for a switch as well haha

  • +26

Not even 20% now… 15% off 20% jacked prices. Yeah no thx eBay P155 off.

  • +1

Any of these sell Apple Watch?

  • +2

I'm guessing ebay have got a lot less business from ozbargain this year compared to the start of last year. For first two months of last year were awesome.

    • indeed, if they want the crowds back theyll need to offer 15% off gift cards to lock us into their markeplace.

  • perfect timing I'm in the market for a dash cam some douche bags keyed my car today…any suggestions which cameras are good? preferably front and back ones

    • douchebags-r-us are not on the selected sellers list sadly.

  • Been waiting for ZzzAtelier to be part of this deal, shame its not!

  • +1

    15 is the new 20

  • No disrespect to OP, it's all intended for eBay - stop dishing out pointless "sales" for a small sliver of sellers that's completely offset by prior price-jacking.

    • +42

      Hi
I guess I should explain why I post these "pointless" deals.

      1) If this deal can help one person then I feel my effort to post this deal is validated. I understand that not everyone will find these deals useful but then the world isn't just about one person is it?

      2) Based on the all the ebay deals I've posted lately, most have been negged. Some only a few, others quite aggressively. I don't think there has been once where I've agreed or disagreed with the neg comments as I respect that everyone has their own views on these sales. I certainly would not be asking people to revoke their negs like other deal posters!

      3) I agree that there is price jacking by some sellers but have we taken the time to understand why sellers do this? We just see the final figure and react. Sellers, like us, are also trying to make a living. I know that some sellers participating in ebay sales have made losses as a result of people here pushing them so that they can post a popular deal. How are these sellers able to recoup their losses in such situations?

Anyway, I will continue to post such "pointless" deals as info reaches me. If it can help you then I'm glad I've helped a little.

      • +2

Hey man, I thoroughly appreciate these ebay deals you find - most of the coupons work for the tech stuff and that's what I need for my new place at the moment!

Honestly, thanks alot though I do appreciate it more than I can articulate.

      • +1

No idea why you are being negged for that post….

I think this site should ban negging on comments.

      • You’ve helped and thanks.

      • I appreciate the deals and effort. Thanks and hope you keep em coming, despite the negative Nancy’s!!

      • -1

People are selfish whining little feckers… it's not a dig at you but a reflection of their own shitty self entitled attitudes.

        Thanks for the post OP

      • 100% support your point of view and also don't forget the AUD to USD exchange rate down to 10 years worst…

      • +2

No disrespect man, but this is BARGAIN website. People love it because of bargains and good deals. Price jacking have become a big deal. I would find it more of a deal if, lets say, your product cost 100$ and you try to sell it for 99$ rather than price jack it to 120 giving me 20$ discount. I remember when 20% off ebay was actually 20% off. Cheers.

      • Well with a little work there is always a battle for some things with fast fingers at the start .
Of course your info leads to that .

      • I just bought a 2tb mx500 from PLE on the PLUM10 deal. I got it for $330 delivered. The cheapest on static ice atm is UMART for $338+deliver

The PLE ebay price is actually $2 less than the direct price… Looks like they forgot to jack up their prices.

There's some wins in these sales, don't feel bad.

  • +1

going down the same path as Groupon … irrelevance

  • +26
    • +1

      Good stuff

  • +3

I wonder if eBay would receive the same amount of free advertising from ozbargain, if eBay only gave 5% or 1% discounts.

  • Don't forget if you use this 15% you lose the 1% cashrewards. So…… 14% off.

    • 😂 good math

  • Let the Jacking games begin!

  • lol LENOVO just jack all their laptop 20% up XD

  • Lol..Zinus (mattresses and frames) created a new store with unrealistic shipping charges all together to escape this discount…funny..

    • new store?? what are you talking about?
      isn't zinusoutlet their old store?

      • nope..zinusaustralia is old store.

  • so, just a wild idea, of we used the comments for bargains or bargain verification, these threads would become useful again ;)

    "make comments grate again"

    <insert Ebay grater link here>

  • What's the best way to search through all the rubbish in these % code sales? Is it to go through to every different store and do a search, or is there a way to do a search accross only these stores? I always find it so laborous.

    • +1
      • So the answer is there is no good way, someone has to make a search link manually.

    • Have you clicked on the Deal link? EBay has already done the search for this code, by shop name, category etc!

      • The search box at the top just searches all of ebay.

        • Have you looked at the rest of the page, on the left where individual stores are listed, then in the middle of page where all the categories are listed, each repeated with "15% Off…" text? They are hard to miss LOL

          • @Buy2Much: Yeah but that isn’t what I’m asking for…

  • Sigh no good deals on the RBK50

    With this deal $449.65
Without this deal $418.81 (With PRETZEL10)

    Previous sales were under $350

  • -1

Still no good 75" TV deal.

  • +1

    I am getting this error:
This code can't be applied to your order.
I am using the listed seller and order worth is above $200.

    • +1

that's a bloody outage. who is the seller and what items are you trying to purchase. ill lodge an inquest for ya

      • Store:zinusoutlet
        Item: Zinus-Black-Modern-Metal-Steel-Queen-Bed-Frame

        Appreciate your effort mate!

        • zinus created new store front just to escape this discount..there is another outlet 'ZinusOutlet' which is participating in sale but have 30$ shipping..actual zinus store not participating.

your link says zinus australia. I am looking for the same bed and disappointed as well.

          • @Indi24: That is clearly a scam, OP and other OzBargainers, can we do something about it??

            Edit: Didn't read it before

            • -1

@TaurusHead: Hi all, we do have a variety of products on sale at our new ebay outlet store which are all part of the 15% off promotion. Our existing store - Zinus Australia is still running on ebay and will feature the occasional special offer but our new Outlet store will be the home to the extra special discounts that ebay runs.

In regards to the delivery fees, we have found that delivering products to the whole of Australia for free can be quite costly so we have had added minor shipping charges to some areas to ensure we can still continue to manufacturer quality products at a great price.

Thank you to everyone for your support. We appreciate all of you and will continue to share news of our special discounts on Oz Bargain so you can bring a piece of Zinus into your home at a great price.

              Thanks Zinus

              • +1

@Zinus Australia: Nice try with twisted words.. you didn't explain how you are giving same bed without shipping in one store and have to pay shipping in other store. Instead you should stop participating in Ebay sales. What's the point in participating in Ebay sales with a separate store, when it costs same in normal store..I don't get it.

I think if you practice this business tactics, soon you will be banned from ozbargain…just give it a thought.

    • Same!

    • FYI cuz, just got a call from management. apparently there is some kind of technical difficulty. but dont you worry they're calling somebody to fix it. sometime they there sometime they not there. and can take a very long time to fix, sometime 30 days sometime even
1 month. but i wouldn't hold my breathe coz stores have been know to be pulled.

i'd suggest giving them a call and demand they honor the deal. the key is being assertive but not rude. theyll usually honor it on the spot. you might get a stubborn csr who wont do anything just call again until youre greated with someone who is willing to help

      good luck

The Lenovo I was watching was $1699 for the last few weeks.
Today it is $1990, after code $1691.50

  • massive price jacks. Was watching a Seagate ironwolf which jumped to price $689 which is more expensive by $100 aftter discount compared to MSY.
