  Oh how I miss JB’s sale in November with stackable discounts. 25% off Canon bodies and lenses + 10% off lenses when purchased with a body + 5% off with email barcode + 5% discount on gift cards from Youi + cashbacks on Eos R and most lenses. Kicking myself for not buying more lenses - didn’t realise how much I would love the Eos R. Purchased purely for travel instead of lugging my 1DXii around but loving it!     Mind you, the new Canon 5-year warranty applies after 25th Nov so I would not get too beat up if I miss that sale…at least now you get (1) extra peace of mind and (2) better resale value (while it is still under warranty).

    The one you bought is an EF mount. The one OP posted is an RF mount.

    That's a Pre-order. I believe site wide sales usually exclude items not in stock (beside the in-demand or low margin items unless supported by the manufacturers, e.g. Apple).
