One of Australia's most beloved kids books, Graeme Base's illustrations are truly stunning. Relive the nostalgia, or pass it on to the next generation.

There were lots of copies out the front when I went by, and more out the back in the kids' section. Basement Books is amazing if you haven't been - they get heaps of 'seconds' when bookshops are clearing space. Especially good for art, design and cookbooks. It's off the tunnel that runs under Central.

  Funny I bought a Graeme Base book the other day (for myself lol), the first time I've had anything by him since, well when I was small. Think I'm going to have to get this too.
