    What is the difference between 12, 15, 21, and 25? Is 25 the best tasting one? Which is more smooth for beginner whisky drinkers?

      I had a tasting session organised by Glenfarcas couple years ago. 21 is my pick for the smoothness. 25 didn't taste as nice as the 21.

    Hmm… big fan of Glenfarclas - have bottles of their 15, 21, 25 y.o. and 1996 Family Cask unopened in the cellar; still finding this deal very hard to resist. Should I bother trying the 12 y.o.? Anyone with a potted review they wish to share?

      You would be hard pressed to find better single malts for the price. I only wish they kept the 15 y.o.'s strength (46%) as you go higher up the age range. In some ways the 15 is a sweet spot for me (when considering price/age/strength/flabvour), but I've only found that by tasting the 21 and 25 as well. So yes, definitely worth a try.

    I think I ordered the last 12 year old, wanted 2 bottles but could only get one, and it's coming from SA (despite me being in Vic).

    Dunno if it's available in any stores though.

          There is a minimum spend of $100 for the PICK100 code. If your cart contains less than that, eBay very helpfully displays "Looks like that's the wrong code", instead of "That code requires a minimum spend of $100".

          Or does the code only apply to Glenfarclas and not other items Dan Murphy's is selling?

          With eBay, who knows (in general)? In this case, however, it seems it might work for the whole store. (I tried the Jameson Irish Whiskey, and the code worked fine once I upped the quantity to 3.)
