Has this been hacked so you can play more than the 16 games?

    • +1

I like a list of the 16 games.

      • +2

Yeah I can't believe the Amazon page doesn't list what the games are. How rubbish… I'd like to know too.

Loved Alien vs Predator but it should have been Dungeons & Dragons Shadow over Mystera.
As good as the street fighter 2 was, I preferred alpha

Shall we get off your lawn too, old mate?

Are you saying these 'retro' consoles and games only appeal to youngsters? I am amazed they appeal to anyone; I had one of those mini NES and SNES and gave them away as the games were shockingly bad. I'll stick with my Xbox. Thanks for your concern but I have artificial grass on my garden…..got to love modern technology! I suggest that you try it sometime.

          These are modern technologies.

  • Wouldn't pandora box be the better option?

    • Heaps better!

    • Aren't the pandora boxes running unlicensed roms?

  • +2

Or just run mame on ur pc.

    • Or raspberry pi 4? I built my own controller, and a 'special front end', because i was an 'arcade punk'

      • awesome thx

      • I went the same way but with spare laptop instead of the pi. Was fun to build the joystick with good parts and Loved it. :)

  • I see 334.32

  • +3

    Expensive

  • call me weird, but I never liked the left-hand joystick arcade consoles

    • Wierd.
But seriously, do you play right handed joystick?

      • First coin-op arcade games I played had the stick on the right, or, buttons on both sides.

  • +2

    $334 ? No bargain here

  • +3

Only 3-5 good games out of 16 - terrible deal.

  • those white on white buttons must be hard to see in the dark

    • +1

Everything’s hard to see in the dark :)

  • I think this is much better from Jaycar. $249 and include 1399 games:
    https://www.jaycar.com.au/retro-arcade-game-console-with-139…

    • It doesn’t have sanwa joystick..
I bought pandora box with copy sanwa joystick from aliexpress, it’s ok to play but really poor quality with fighting games
So I ordered full set of sanwa joystick and button from ebay, and that’s fantastic to play all games

$300 for an emulator with 16 games……I am without speech.

    • Some on here think it's an amazing deal.

      Fools and their money.

      • +1

Generally I don't consider "deals" are deals until there are at least 40 upvotes because of the many foolish upvotes.

        • Well there are 17 of those here.

  • This is back and even cheaper than last time. Now $267

    • Still overpriced tat

Suggest a better arcade stick for a lower price then, instead of just having a whinge.

As pointed out by various online reviews:

"the Capcom Home Arcade is built from suitably high-quality parts. The sticks and buttons are made by Sanwa; a brand with cult status among arcade devotees. That means you get something extremely durable, highly responsive, and very rewarding to use."

"The price tag remains high, but then a two-player arcade stick of this quality with no preloaded games could cost close to that amount, and securing an arcade original of just one of the featured titles would cost you much more"
