Perfect timing……gas ran out on the weekend just after finishing cooking.

    • You're better off going to Rays Outdoors & getting it refilled, it's about $22

      • +3

Yep - I go to Rays Outdoors when I need a refill - $19.95, takes about 15 minutes.

No offence to the person who submitted this, but I don't see the bargain… specially on the 'buyout' purchase price… Holy Moses… $81.95…

    Isn't Bunnings $28 swap?
$82 for a new one? they're only $30-$40 (empty) elsewhere.

Bunnings swap&go home delivery - $36.98 for $2 more then this deal they deliver.

Yup Bunnngs is $27.50 swap and go ..

  • $81.95 for a whole new bottle…that's insanity.
Bought one at Aldi about 12 months ago under $40…that's for sure.

    • I gather the one listed is full. But yeah I a 8.5kg empty @ Rays Outdoors for $28 back in June.

Thats very expensive, for the people in eastern Melbourne, check out Supagas, they have $55 for a new 8.5Kg cylinder and refills are about $25.

In saying that, anyone know where to get an adapter to fill them up via an LPG bowser?

  • +2

Very overpriced, even if it is 'on special'.

  • You can usually get refill cheaper at your local servos. Cheapest one i can find around my area is $15.

Thanks for pointing out $27.50 swap at Bunnings, my botter is out of date, need a swap now.

    • outta date = outta luck. they only swap in date ones & with one of a comparable date left.

      • If they check, which they seldom do

  • Keep an eye out for local Petrol stations that do refills.

I'm in the south eastern Vic. They usually charge 18-20 bucks.

It's only $16.99 for refills around my hood.

none of my local petrol stations do re-fills now, just offer swaps :-(

Refill of 9kg LPG cylinder in Liverpool / Cabramata area is much better than an exchange.
$15 refill: BP Petrol Station, Camden valley
$13.99 : BP Petrol Station at Cabramatta

So about $2/litre, when the pump a few metres away is 60c/l ?

Definitely not a deal. Can get much cheaper at my local servo, bunnings and other outdoor places.
