    Buyer beware from gamerholic, really hit and miss on their stock, if you will even get what you ordered and if you didn't if you can get a refund anytime soon.

    There is a growing distrust in this company in the board game community

      Yeh bought a few items on ebay from this store due to cheap pricing and they were on "preorder" even though the preorder month had passed, chased them up for weeks only for their supplier to have no stock and no ETA. Eventually got a refund after wasting lots of time.

      Best bet is to buy elsewhere using a credit card with price protection, then claim against Gamerholic's cheaper price :)

        Hi,

        We do appreciate your feedback and do apologise again for the negative experience you had with Gamerholic.
        Since last year November, we had hired an additional staff to help us with our communication and improve our processes dramatically.

        In regards to refunds to shortage of stock, we do sell across 4 platforms and we don't have a good CRM system to manage our inventory. We are looking for a sufficient way to manage our inventory and hope we can roll this out in the next 3-4 months (given we have around 1000+ products).

        We will strive to continue our processes and deliver the best results.

          Can I just say Thanks for acknowledging the fact you've had issues and that you are attempting to do your best to help resolve further issues.

          You could have easily tried to pass the blame or anything else, but you were straight up and honest about it.

        I had them cancel orders twice through eBay and to give the reason that the buyer requested the cancellation.

    I'd recommend checking out their eBay store feedback and other posts on OzBargain before buying - I've personally had issues with this store and won't buy from them. But feel free to do your own research and make your own judgement.

      We do acknowledge that our customer service has not been up to of standard over the last 6 months.
      We have fallen out of the 99% range to 98% range like most sellers.

      Rest assured we have hired someone else to increase our communication and feedback to our customers. We will strive to move back that 98% over the 99% over the next year.

        Suggestion… Don't start quoting % as to how good you are or think you are.

        The fact you have said you have fallen from 99 to 98 .. yet there still seems to be quite a few issues that need to be resolved.

        The best way to handle stuff… Make the changes… Come onto OzB and perhaps give a special discount code to buyers on here… And ask for feedback / reviews.

        I'm sure there will be numerous ex buyers who will certainly give you another go… Just make sure everything is fixed first ;)

        Not sure 98% is even relevant given that in the last month, over 10% of feedback is either negative or neutral.

          Thanks for your feedback and yes we have high numbers of negative feedback over the last month. This was mainly because due to the Christmas period and we were on leave from 16th December until 9th January (inclusive).
          Lots of our customers were upset on how we responded and Christmas products did not arrive in time and cancellation.

        The problem with Gamerholic is when things go wrong (wrong item set, low stock/no stock, pre order delays eg) instead of it being a simple easy fix like most companies do they tend to make the process as painful and difficult as possible

    I've always had a great experience with Gamerholic. There was a stock issue once but they were friendly and helpful. I just had to wait a few extra days for my order. They always have great prices and I've never had a damaged game from them.

      • Where have you seen prices cheaper than Gamerholic? Sometimes I see very good flash sales on Amazon but they gets sold out very quickly even before you know.. I have seen Gamerholic always has cheaper prices on almost all the games they sell compared to other online prices (like Amazon etc).. will be interested to know where you seen lower prices?

  • Used to always buy from Gamerholic, and any issues I have had have been resolved.
    However they now don't have free shipping with ebay plus which makes it the same price or cheaper to buy from other sellers.
    Havent bought from since.

      We do apologise for the late response as we just came back from our holidays on the 8th January and we had to prioritize orders over messages.
      Unfortunately eBay has changed their rules so that any sellers had a postage costs they won't cover under the eBay plus program.
      If you find a cheaper listing please let us know and we will endeavor to match it or beat it

    • Pretty sure ebay suspended gamerholic beenfit as thier feedback rating dropped. They must have been working overtime to try and fix it, but not enough was done. I was contacted by gamerholic in Jan about 'revising' my feedback.
