Reviews on these are very mixed and they are now two generations old.

Seems like a cheap price initially but I’d probably avoid.

fyi I bought these Christmas 2018 and returned them soon after. They constantly stutter and drop music when you turn your head the "wrong" way. Completely ruins the music. The sound quality of these themselves is good, but the product is defective and you cannot enjoy more than 10 seconds without a dropout unless you're perfectly still.

I returned them for a replacement and had the same issue as well. So I refunded and bought the Redmi buds from Xiaomi for $35 (tenth of the price I paid) it was superior in every way but sound quality. But that's assuming you call every bit of sound between a dropout "quality".

    Avoid these, absolute overpriced garbage.

This is specifically about the Beoplay E8

    • Had the same issues and did the same, replacement had same issues on an iPhone XS, added to this the mic doesn’t work very well out and about

I got AirPods and found no issues with them, speaker quality is good to my ears but admittedly not as good as the E8’s

I would have to agree these have a faulty design

  • i recently saw these earbuds posted here going for > $300. Came across this by chance and was hoping they would be a bargain for people.

I don’t own these so I can’t commend, but I own the Sony Wf-1000xm3 and find that they are pretty good. ANC works good, sounds are good. The only complain is the comfort and fitting. Always feels like it’s gonna fall off my ear.

  • I have the same issues as some commented here about the occasional stuttering and drop outs, but I will still happily and heartily recommend the E8. The sound quality is superb and more than makes up for the inherent imperfections. Nobody and nothing's perfect I suppose.

Pair it with memory foam tips for an even higher grade sound signature and those faults will just be a minor annoyance instead of a deal breaker.

Verdict: For the price, it's money well spent alright.
