  • Good deal. Will hold out and see if the eBay retailers drop their prices too + discount codes

    • Went instore to check it out. Sales rep wouldn't budge on price, saying it was below cost and they were only doing this price as Samsung was subsiding it.

Only thing he could offer is $395 with 4 years extended replacement warranty.

  • Would this be a good match for a lounge/kitchen room that was 6 X 7m? It would go with a 65 inch tv. I am looking for it to be the main music source as well.

Your room is quite big so it might feel the sound is a bit weak at the far end of the speaker but depends on your room setup, and materials of the 4 walls/ceiling. It only has 340W, look for something a bit more powerful 450+ imho.

You can go in store on a quiet night and test a few out and ask the reps to turn the other speakers down/of if possible.

THanks pippo! Just what I was after. The room has cathedral ceilings as well so it won't have enough power. The 450+ gives me something to look for. Thanks again.

No worries! Might even consider starting at 500W with a cathedral ceiling. Also try look for 5.1 or 7.1 system (wired/ or wireless that can connect to a power source). It'll sound so much better, and not distorted/echo as you move across your living dining area. Happy hunting!
