Like clockwork every month. Been cheaper previously. Seems to be on sale every other week. The RRP is fake

    • Doesn't seem like anyone got it for $15 though…

Yep no one got it for $15 as it was a pricing error.

And yet you could only source 2 OzB links; a cursory search of this site shows a post every few months.

$45 seems to be the real cheapest price so far.

  • When the last sale was on I got a T6 of these for 45. Excellent value and love it, but in hindsight I may have preferred this one so it has the option to pair up for stereo as well as to turn the bass down to normal (stock is very exagerrated)

  • I read up about these last time they were on here. The speakers are likely 10w each and the amp capable of 15w. There is the tiniest chance they are 20w speakers driven at 7.5w per channel but for economical sense they're 10w. Not that it matters I guess. People seem to like them for what they are

Very few manufactures give true RMS Watts rating. Heck I remember battery powered ghetto blasters with lights that you carry on your shoulder with "2000W" of music - from C batteries. Peak Watts, Peak Music Power Output (PMPO) and all sorts of creative ways give you a BIG wattage number. Unless Watts RMS its a bogus figure. I do have 2 of these Tronsmart speakers and I am very impressed with the sound output for their size and cost (I paid $59.99 for mine) I use them as music player and small voice amp for performing magic shows in peoples homes. They are very good for this job. For larger crowds I have various PA systems up to my pair of 12" Behringer Active Speakers. Anything bigger than that, the client has always had a PA on site anyway and I just plug my mixer into theirs. But for music around the house / yard. These speakers do alright by me 99% of the time.

      • There is a possibility they are being honest but in a sneaky sort of a way. They say 40w speaker, and it does contain 2 speakers maked as 20w each so 40w, but the amplifier is only 15w total (7.5x2) and battery only 7.4v at 3700 . It would seem like extra expense to drive a 20w speaker at 7.5w, and make more sense for it really to be a 10w.

Having said that I've heard this speaker in person and like you and many people who review it think they sound great and have plenty of volume

  • The built in mic works for phone calls, but not very well. I use it only long enough to chat while I disconnect the connection and hold the phone to me ear.
