For that money get an S50 Roborock. It's a no brainer
What about that new S50 max?
The S50 max has better control in the mopping feature
while all other features remains the same as S50eg. Allow you to choose the water / moisture level when mopping the floor (which also allow you to vacuum only without mopping)
However, there are 2 issues with S50 maxS50 max is made by Roborock directly instead of selling under the Xiao Mi brand
while it is seems possible to add to Mi Home app (need to confirm)
it is suppose to use the Roborock app instead (which is very unstable compare with Mi Home app)S50 max allows user to set moisture level for mopping
because of this, user are not allowed to add any detergent / floor soap to the water tank
for S50, as it is purely dropping water directly from water tank to the cloth
adding detergent is much safer and have been reported with no issue at all

As I have solid floors I'm waiting on the ilife450 release, which hopefully is soon because my floors are getting dirty.
