Their sale is not really a sale. Castrol Edge full synthetic 5w-30 is still expensive after 20% off at $57.50. Normal price is $25-$35. Their normal price is highly marked up. SCA used to be cheap but not anymore. This is bait and switch.
You sure you arent getting oils or sizes mixed up? Where are you getting 5L of that for $25?
I bought Nulon 5W-30 5L full synthetic oil from Costco for $25. Bought Castrol Edge 5L 5W-30 for around $30. You are used to much higher price because that's what we normally see and that's their strategy to make us get used to higher price. We just don't know what is the normal price so we tend to buy it when we see lower price even though that lower price still gives them around 100% profit margin (reduced from higher price of 250% profit margin). To me profit margin of 100% or more is a rip off.
