  • Awesome price, but wondering why on earth do they put an ethernet port but not HDMI??

artificial step to get people to step up to a E495 etc.

The HD screen kills any interest.

    • Spec sheet says no HDMI but if you look carefully at 2nd picture looks like there is one. Idk which one is wrong

  • The HD panels they use on the V330 line are some of the worst displays I've seen in a long time.

    • FHD or nothing.

FHD should be the bare minimum now. A $200 android phone comes with a FHD screen now! I've lost count of the number of laptops that have interested me only to find that the screen is low res.

edit: Apparently it is a 1080 screen. "HD" is such a misleading descriptor.

          1080 is FHD

@MuddyClear: I'm aware of that. This link shows that it's a 1080 screen though: https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/Lenovo/Lenovo_V33014ARR

HD is a strange descriptor because I don't recall ever using a laptop with a 720 screen.

            • @macrocephalic: Link says: 14" FHD (1920x1080) TN 220nits Anti-glare with Win10 Home (not Pro version as shown listed).

I wouldn’t buy from this seller as product description does not match, thus you don’t know what you’re really getting.

@macrocephalic You can't just find specs from the model number…they make dozens of variations to models depending on the retailer they sell to or what a customer orders.

SKU of this particular unit is 81B1006AAU.

Lenovo indicates that it is 1366x768

Walk into HN or JB. Pretty much every 14" or 15.6" model under $700 will be a HD 1366x768 screen.

  • bezels take up a 30% of the display…. sheesh!
