  • great deal!

  • Might help if you put seller's name in the title. They listed it as $135, shown as $125 for my EBay Plus.

    • +1

      shipping cost $3.49

      • Forgot that EBay Plus does not necessarily means free shipping anymore…

  • +1

Can this be used for existing customers ?

    • +1

I think no, this is a prepaid sim. For existing customers you need to buy voucher from Coles, BigW, etc…

      • I mean after my current one expire? I am just wondering why I can not use it, the same way I used it first?

        • +3

You’d have to port out and port back in.

          • @sween64: Actually I just had a chat with boost customer service and below is their response :

Agent : To be completely honest, you can use the sim by simply activating it and use the number allocated to it.

            • +7

@Shina: Most people want to keep their existing number though.

              • -1

@cheaponos: Yes you can use the SIM with new number or the allocated number to that new SIM.

            • @Shina: I've done live chat with them and they say:

I got you. The online offer is a one time sim offer for a new sim and it has it's own Boost number. The number that can be transferred to the new sim is a number from other provider and a Boost number cannot be transferred to the online sim offer

Can't be used for existing customers on same deal you have to Port out then back to this deal from what I understand.

    • -1

      What?!

      • +1

Basically saying you can't recharge an existing Boost service with this, have to port out and then use it to port back as a new customer.

  • Thanks OP!

    They run out

Back in stock for $129 ($139 less discount) + shipping.

FYI, you can also get office works to price beat with free next day shipping. Came out to be $128.25 incl. shipping for me.

EDIT: Price beat the $135 on boost.com.au website

    • Confirmed this works, did it twice last week for myself and wife.

      • how does officeworks price beat works? if you order online..

    • Says no stock online

    • do officeworks supply as recharge or as new customer sim?

  • So no free shipping for eBay Plus members?

  • So how do you bros use this? 80 GB for 12 months is not much? Do u usually do 2 in a year or?

Just would like to know before I change my current plan.

    • +3

some people don't use 80 GB in 12 months… if you use wifi whenever available it'll last.

    • +4

I am 10 months through one of these deal and still have 60GB left.
      All depends on your usage.

  • -2

Can this be used as a recharge?

  • Hi, Is there an activation date for the service? I am asking this because my current Telstra plan is going to end in March and would like to activate it once my current plan ends. Thanks

    • +2

The one I bought in another recent deal had 2021 as expiration.

  • How long does it take for Boost to port over from Kogan? Been just over 24 hours and still no service.

    • A couple of months ago my first number took 20 minutes, my second number took 48 hours and 20 minutes.
I mixed up details of the second Kogan account so it took 48 hours for the porting request to fail. After that I resubmitted request with correct details and it took 20 minutes.

      • Under 24 hours from experience.

  • Any issues porting from Telstra to this SIM card, because I read you need to get a special one but that info might be out of date?

Can someone help me understand what makes this deal so attractive to people?

I can't work out why you wouldn't get their prepaid sim-only plan instead. At the moment they have a 45GB pre-paid plan, which is a 28 day expiry for 30GB + 15GB ON FIRST 3 RECHARGES. It costs $20 in the first month and then $40 each month thereafter.

Doing the maths this would mean over 3 months you would spend just $100 and get 135GB to use.

Whereas with this deal you spend $150 for only 80GB.

    What am I missing here?

    • +4

This deal is $150 for 12 months. Your one is $100 for 3 months, it means $400 for 12 months.

    • +1

This deal is $132.49 per year for 80GB, so $11.05 per month for 6.66GB

      • +1

Ahhhh I see it is for low data users! Thanks

    • +1

This plan is $150/year ($135 on special) for 80GB, your deal is $460/year for 405GB.

If I use less than 50GB data/year why would I pay more than I have to?

  • Can anyone please confirm if the 13 numbers are included in the unlimited standard calls.

    • Yes

      • I was told by their customer service that its not included. So bit confused.

  • It’s $135 at boost directly why is this being upvoted?
