Enjoy the classic look and feel of the game as you work to mark the mines without uncovering one. You use the numbers of a revealed square to tell you how many mines are next to that square. Using logic, you figure out where the mines are and mark them. Watch out! If you make a mistake, a mine will explode!
The app features a clean interface and the minefield fits to your screen size.
There are three themes available: Classic, Light, and Dark.

Keep at it! On expert mode you only usually have to guess about 5 times in a game. Depends how lucky you get. Then when you do have to guess you can work out which guesses are more or less likely to have bombs.
Just had a game where I didn’t have to guess any except the first square!
Lucky guy you the first press is always guaranteed clear.
@teereb: I feel like in old versions of Windows it wasn’t guaranteed? Am I remembering right?
@Hargain Bunter: Umm, I believe so. But my memory of the windows 95 version is not recent haha.
I do remember playing it constantly 10 years ago, and could get expert down under a minute and a half, and it was a guaranteed first click no problem; it'd generate after the first click.
@teereb: Dang, 90 seconds is pretty quick!
@Hargain Bunter: Haha, yeah I played a lot, but that was shot a decade ago. I just remember getting under triple figures often, but can't actually tender the fastest.
Those guesses were the worst, so many memories of ending up with a 50/50 for the last 2 squares after ages slogging through an expert map haha
JV's wet dream just came true.
Instructions unclear, stepped on a landmine.
We can sweep it under the carpet.
Was my C++ assignment. Good old (profanity) times.
Back in the day, I wore out a couple mouses playing this game.
Got asked questions about this game in a job interview once.
Thanks OP!
What was the question?
Once the pleasantries of do you know this game and it's rules, yes and yes. I was asked to describe what kind of information each square would need to store to remember its state.
Hi guys, I had installed this on my pixel 2 ages ago (1-2yrs).
A while after installing I noticed my screen was really slow to respond or I only got a black screen when trying to turn my phone on. After months of searching I found a forum where someone claimed minesweeper pro was doing it to his phone. I uninstalled it and the phone was back to normal.
I’m still not 100% sure what happened but if anything like this happens to you then at least you know!
I’ll try to find the forum I read.
I haven’t been able to complete one game successfully until to this very day
