Yeah, it's an excellent family game. It's easy to learn as well.

@jv: Enjoy playing Europe more, it has larger cards, slightly different rules that add more balance to the gameplay.
@jv: The original is more cutthroat. This is better for families if you hate others destroying your plans as there is a way around this. US map is better for the more competitive types.
@jv: We play this one as a family for a longer game and New York for a fast 20 minute version. Love them both.
I'd love to see a good Australia map that wan't just random stops throughout the outback, but I guess we don't have that sort of train network. Eastern Seaboard game with long links to Adelaide and Perth would look odd.

The digital version is cross platform. I'd be happy to play against you. My username is brisdaz and I have it on Android mobile and steam PC.
Which is great, because computer thinks quick, even if you have three computer opponents.

I ordered this from Amazon via Amazon US stock a few weeks back for this price.
Was the last one available. When it arrived, shrink wrapped but box was a bit damaged.
Opened it up, had Ticket To Ride map instead of Europe (but Europe cards).
Looking into it a bit more, turns out was a fake too (only 5 stations instead of 15, dodgy train pieces/off colour, fake registration number, basically everything like this)Amazon happily refunded of course, hopefully just a case of bad 3rd party stock getting mixed in with Amazon stock.
Counterfeit products are an ongoing problem for Amazon in the US. I think it’s pretty much as youve said - Amazonmerging their own internal stock with third-party sellers who use Amazon for fulfilment, so even if you buy from Amazon directly, they’re pulling from stock that could’ve come from another seller.
I'm sure some poor quality manager warned them this would be a terrible idea and a warehouse manager overruled them.

Ah man, I was on the road and missed it. They have it locally for this price at bricks n motar chinese junk shop but I'm almost certain it would knock off.
