  How many stops of stabilization would this be equivalent to?

    You can't compare it, this monopod is going to beat lens stabilisation. You can even lock it to stay still.

      I figured that, but somehow they assign a number to lens stabilization or IBIS, even though everyones hand steadiness will vary.

  I have the XPRO500 (with the larger modified 500Ah head) and its a great monopod. Great for run and gun shoots. Quick setup.

  This is essentially the same, but with a smaller head suitable for DSLR/Mirrorless etc.

  That is an insane price to be honest.

  The only limitation I can see with the head is that the plate is in a fixed position. I have a Manfrotto head where the plate can slide fore/aft to balance the camera/lens on the head so that when you let go of the handle, the camera doesn't flop forward.
