@12Ghast: I also picked up 2 after 7pm. You had to ask the service desk as none are on display. Apparently they had 4 out the back when i got there.
@Itchy n Scratchy: Wow. I called them and they said they had no stock. Then didn't see any on display so I assumed that's it.
EDIT: Just called Burwood store again and asked for them to check behind the counter. "Apparently" none left and can't be bothered to go back in store.
@12Ghast: Unlucky mate. Their customer service is pathetic though i was on hold for a while when i rang yesterday and their attitude was poor. Try ringing their head office and see which stores near you might have stock. That's what i did originally. Better customer service too. Good luck.

Identical look to the G230 and the G430 except for the console support and inline controls, not particular comfortable or durable - very mediocre sound quality.
My recommendations are the hypercloud x or the corsair HS50 or HS60 - can generally get these for around 40-50 and are a much better gaming headset.
I play way to many games so trust my opinion hahaha.
Yeah, it's the exact same entry-level gaming headset they've been producing for the past 7 years now with minor cosmetic changes.
I've got the G430, which has been gathering dust in a drawer for the past 5 years and it's the supposed premium model of the three, which I picked up for around $55 shipped; but even that price is a rip-off. The microphone was worse than the ancient H390 headset which was released in 2009 and usually sold for less than $50 even when new. Every single game or VOIP client I tried with the G430 made me sound like I was talking through water to the other participants. Plenty of Amazon/Newegg reviews will attest to the fact that the G230/231/430 are all lucky to last 12 months with regular usage, before something breaks on them.
Quite possibly the worst Logitech headsets aside from this horrendously cheap and nasty rubbish, which I also had the misfortune of buying back in the day.

For quick comparison:
Flight more comfy, but non neutral sound
HS50 is neutral sound, detachable mic so can be used outside, a bit tight
HS60 is similar to HS50 but with the addition of a USB soundcard for 7.1 surround mix
I went with HS50 which was $49 delivered from eBay…

I had the same problems until I used a ÜSB Soundcard"with my headset.
USB will maintain high quality while the CPU is under heavy load.
3.5mm lin/mic input will not.
I prefer USB headsets…
I checked Chirnside and they had none at 5:30 yesterday. If anyone got a spare from eastland/burwood/pines then I'd gladly buy it off you.

The Plastic that holds the ear piece in place will crack and break on these, I have gone through three sets. But for $30 !!! Grab two sets :) And or keep your receipt for warranty.
