these are complete rubbish, gives you a vastly different reading every time. theres a reason these appear on sites like this, because they are purchased cheap and flogged off at a reasonable profit. im going to neg this because the product is junk and i dont think its a bargain either (pretty sure i paid less on COTD ages ago)

Hi, appreciate and accept your comment, however in our testing, and specifically Adam from eSOLD is using one personally, this has absolutely not been the case. Potentially a faulty one could do what you are saying, in which case we refund or exchange no problem. Anyway… thanks for the feedback I guess :)

and I'm sure "Adam" from eSOLD absolutely knows about the human body and can testify that the reason doctors, nurses and medical specialists don't use them in their respective practices is because they are all faulty and should have been purchased from eSOLD in which case they can get a replacement ASAP. I don't usually flame but this item, for me, was a complete waste of money when I bought one a long time ago. Makes for a great paper weight though.

        • Hi, I'm Adam's imposter from eSOLD. I can guarantee i know all about the Barbie doll human (plastic) body. I can testify that Ken is very pleased with Barbie due to this blood pressure wrist monitor.

As a pharmacist, i don't recommend these wrist models. This is because the weaker pulse from elderly people. They will give you less accurate results compare to other types out there.

I too can not condone this product being sold, especially to those who are concerned with their health. As said above, the wrist monitor does not work accurately in the young, elderly or those with weak pulses. The arm cuff gives a better reading and is worth the extra cost and true health benefit. Getting a stethoscope and sphygmomanometer is a far better, and possibly cheaper, way to "stay healthy":)

I used one of these, which gave a high reading(I'm very fit)… it scared the crap out of me. I then had my blood pressure done properly by a doctor, it was fine. I've also had it done by my dentist, also fine. Don't bother with this product, please. See a medical specialist for an accurate blood pressure reading!

  • Death trap????
