 CamelCamelCamel.
 CamelCamelCamel.
Bugger yep would need to be accompanied with other stuff

it's a shame they killed that promo and the free expedited shipping. Although their expedited shipping still takes 14 days. Now it will take even longer.

That's expensive isn't it?
Christmas clearance these are $2.50.

At what stores? I haven't seen them for a while.

shipping is $11.50 :(

This will be the first time I open one of these up and not be greeted by sewing equipment and buttons!

I've never met buttons that talk.

That’s exactly what I use it for

Hi OP, is homemade Danish better than this? Thank you!

Limit of 4 tins, I had to quickly add 2 other items to get the free postage lol

Serving size - 4 cookies… lol

Voted for potential sewing supplies storage

Ah man my childhood! Opening them up and just seeing sewing materials…

Omg, i thought it was just my mum that did that…
Why oh why, how did every family get the same idea of using these tins for sewing materials???

This isn't a deal.. You can find these at Aldi, big w, Kmart even on clearance for cheaper

Before Christmas maybe, at other times not likely (google doesn't find anything right now, that I could see)
Not to be confused with the no-name version

Your +vote says otherwise

Overpriced biscuits.

Not as strong as the nostalgia of people saying "biscuit" instead of using American English.

Ever played soggy cookie?

Mate, its Soggy Sao

Great sewing kit container

This deal takes the biscuit..

Walkers are my favourite butter cookies, made in Scotland. Really good stuff.

Plus one to that

Danish cookies made in Scotland. It's like Aussie flags and koala dolls sold during Australia day, made in China.

Danish butter cookies are light and crisp and a little sweeter compared to traditional Scottish shortbread like Walkers which has more butter and is cooked at a lower temperature so they are softer and more crumbly. I like both!

Can get giant tins of Walkers at Costco….. just saying…. ;-)

Just 4 ingredients: Flour, butter, sugar, salt

Ha ha.. I am not falling into this trap again. All those tins I opened when I was a kid contained sewing kits.

476g is that net or include box, if net this is great value

476g is include box, 340g net.

Not free with Prime - need to change the description. Adds $11.51 as postage - not a bargain.

Ok sure, but how is $16.71 a bargain for some cookies? I get there is some novelty surrounding them, but really?

I agree, I don’t get how this is a deal if there is no free shipping. Shipping completely kills the deal. I wonder if the 70 positive votes were purchases….

I used to love these as a kid. Now I have no idea what I saw in them.

Thread and needles?

We use ice cream tubs for that.

Usually they sell them in supermarkets for this price at this time of year… but + for anything Danish :)

How is the flavour and texture(i'm so professional i know) compared to my beloved but expensive af danish cookies https://cdn2.i-scmp.com/sites/default/files/images/methode/2…

No, definitely not as good. The Kjeldsens one is much lighter and more buttery.

Where do you buy those ones from? I'd love to try some.

My favourite was always the swirl one! The little paper cups of those looked quite lonely against the full cups of every other type. I have seen those sold just on their own overseas but never here :(

Pfft, these are always filled with sewing supplies.

It is no longer available.
