Thanks to HUKD I figured this would be a good one for the travellers among you all. Can't see why Aussies couldn't take advantage of it
And I checked, and payment allows Australian addresses

Travelodge are very basic hotels for those who don't already know.
Usually at edge of cities, often good if driving.
There are a good number of these hotels in London "city" (Zone 1/2).
No parking.
But tube adjacent.
edit: But also unlikely any of these would be close to 29GBP
on Google: From £30/n double at Travelodge London City near Whitechapel. Can't get much more central. 1 star hotel but good reviews (4.4).
Backpackers dorms can cost as much in London!
So should be in this Deal.
I've mainly noticed them coming into towns, when driving distances in UK.
@INFIDEL: I have stayed at that one previously, it's right between the two Aldgate stations, and a stones throw from Brick Lane.
I'm surprised about the price, as it is a good location (IMHO).
Any idea what dates are at 30 quid a night?
@Tiggrrrrr: Throw some dates at it
Apparently £40 tonight (6/1 UK time)
Next month can be much more expensive!
Click on price & shows the next date available! A strange system.
Check in: 12 Jan 2020 at 3pm
Check out: 13 Jan 2020 at 12 noon
1 night Double room
2 adults - Saver rate £29.99
Same rate next night.
Otherwise Google gives the daily rates in au$ by clicking on Check in date
Sundays are the cheapest night. Fridays the next cheapest.
Business customers!
@Tiggrrrrr: So good if you like art with your curry in Brick lane😊
@Tiggrrrrr: 120 quid/night in April :(
@Sweet3st: Sundays in April are from au$76-89 double. Just stay Sundays!
They do the job for me. Locations are a bit outside towns from what I remember, so a bit quieter (I'm not pretentious).
A lot of travelodges have been recently built or refurbished. For 30 pound a night, you are getting a comfortable and clean room, with a kettle, towels and a TV.
I think they meet all expectations you could have at that price point.
If travelling with a car, it's worth checking some city/town centre locations as to the parking situation, as it could cost more than your room if not included….
Good one in central Manchester.
Our transport out was late evening so I asked if I could leave our cases there for the day.
Refused, they don't offer such an essential service.
We found a locker in town.
Is this only for those from fire areas?😀
