This would be good to mess around at your mate's place. HAHA.

But I'm kinda doubting if it works.

    • It works, I've got one.

Doesn't really seem like much of a bargain

this will work from what i have used in the past but its a bit slow, as in you have to point the remote and hold the button for a few seconds for the remote to cycle through the different codes until one works. meh its only $2.20

Cute, might be useful to surreptitiously mute the sound on annoying TV sets at venues. :)

  • I've used this to turn off screens at Replay before, lots of fun!

    • You're right. It's cheaper off eBay

    • Yep. Not a deal. I got one of these for less than a dollar shipped a few years ago. And that is $1 cheaper.

  • nice, so given Panasonic support, It will be able to increase the volume of the huge RPTV I have in my room.
The volume button doesn't work and it's set to pretty low volume.
Anyone have experience with old 10y/o TVs or only the newer Plasmas/LCDs

puts hand up Purchased 2 from Zazz ages ago. I have used this on a dilapidated CRT TV at the Mekong Border Immigration Checkpoint between Vietnam and Cambodia. It works just fine ;) The guards loved it so I let them keep it as they used a long-hit-and-miss-stick to change channels/volume before (it was ceiling mounted) and in return we got served first when the Border opened despite being the last to arrive in a room of 100 people - win :D

  • Cheaper on Ebay!
