8 for $5 at super cheap as well.
Please share the link
I can only find 2x4pk for 10
Yep, my bad. Misread the catalogue. They're $4.99 each for a 4 pack.
When bush fire season is over and the weeds start to grow back, can you use this to sear them?
Absolutely. No more chemicals and weeds rarely come back.
What kind of blowtorch do you recommend for this?
Kovea brand.
Use them like a rolling pin. Better for the environment mannnnn
I tried it with mixed success in the wet tropics. To use roundup with the least possible damage one got to understand the growth phase of weed.
Best use of Roundup is early spring?
Roundup (glyphosate) works best when plant is actively growing. Apply to plant’s foliage.
Cheapest way to get hold of these is using 10$ bcf voucher with no minimum spend… 6 pack for free.
Can you explain how that's possible?
Yeah how 6?
Wait foe the monthly or bimonthly voucher for club members in your email.. it's usually posted on ozb. Then do click and collect using your voucher on the 6 pack of butane canisters.. from memory they're 10$ or maybe $10.99 I can't remember.
Can you make flame throwers out of these?
Can I fill my refillable lighters with these?
Yes but you need to make an adapter. Check YouTube
yep but not recommended. Can cause frostbite and keep in mind to only use in well ventilated areas.
Can I fill my refillable lighters with these?
The smell is quite putrid. Also the burning power is lower, but still you'll get a flame
Butane for refillable lighters is a lot better and the price difference is minimal.
Bought 3, membership not required
At Preston VIC
Says '1 day only' at Gosford store. Also says maximum of 4 packs.
Plenty left at the Springvale VIC store (didn't count but must be in the 100s).
Are these good to use for Portable Gas Stove?
Stoves had a callback but came back safer and cheaper. Average cost $20 and sometimes can be found for $15. Best thing ever. We grey nomaded using one in combination of a cheap induction plate and a long cable. In high wind situations gas becomes useless but if your radar eyes fine a working power point your induction will cook up to the point of being blown away and never start a bushfire.
One of the interesting things about using a portable gas stove against a gas bottle and stove installation is a portable with canisters takes up about the same room for the same capacity of gas bottle and a darn cite lot cheaper too…
They work well in summer but get too cold in winter causing a low flow of gas. You can get around this by having a few so you can use one whilst the others warm up. Or just stick to propane.
