Feeling all Star Wars nostalgic?

Go back and read the Skywalker Saga where it all began: Luke Skywalker dreamed of adventures out among the stars and alien worlds. But when he intercepted a message from a beautiful captive princess, he got more than he had bargained for—and that was how the adventure of his life began… .

I also found the John Carter series on sale for $0.99 USD ($1.43 AUD) if you are a Scifi reading lover like myself - John Carter: Barsoom Series (7 Novels) A Princess of Mars; Gods of Mars; Warlord of Mars; Thuvia, Maid of Mars; Chessmen of Mars; Master Mind of Mars; Fighting Man of Mars COMPLETE WITH ILLUSTRATIONS Kindle Edition

Doesn't seem to work for Australian customers. I tried with a VPN as well. Amazon US won't let Australian registered buyers buy this Kindle product. The Amazon AU link for this product costs $14.99.

These books were based on the movies, not the movies based on these books. Not sure if I'm keen on that, even though I'm a smart wars fan.

    • What's Smart Wars?

I'm with you. George Lucas dialog is dull at the best of times. Can't imagine I want to read it!

  • Amazon link to Kindle edition currently says 'This title is not currently available for purchase'.
Anyone else seeing this? Maybe sale has ended?

    • Amazon US accounts only - not applicable to Australian accounts.

  • George Lucas is preoccupied of fantasizing how to kill fathers.

  • Where the saga really began is the first drafts of the scripts… from 1974.

The Star Wars, Journal of the Whills, Luke Starkiller, that sort of stuff.
