Friend is using it, seems alright, Oricom suppose to be leading brand? At this price, I'm giving it a go.
I'd like to hear any first-hand experience too. We have a different Oricom model which has served us well for almost 3 years. The only issue we've had is the range isn't great.
Then the kid snapped the aerial off the handheld unit.
More expensive but check out the Cubo AI monitor on Amazon! Way better. I just returned my Oricom SC870, useless to me and cam quality is not great.
It's $400
Just use an internet connected webcam like the Digoo / similar stuff on Banggood / simialar sites.
for parents though, things like audio and visual temperature warnings is useful and not something that a cheap webcam can do.
Also I've heard some of those webcams are easily hackable?
Arlo Baby does all that. Usually on special at BingLee for $199. Or use a 20% off sale on Ebay to grab it at $199.
Does temp, humidity, air quality, 2 way audio, plays music and play lists, has a night light.
I've used one for the past 12 months and it's been great.
Any recommendations for cheap IP cameras that I can get motion detected alerts from?
Is your kid jailbreaking out of the cot?
Thanks OP got one for my new born Granddaughter.
Lol. I bought a Xiaomi Xiaofang ip camera
25 bucksI did some research on baby monitors recently. For this price, I'd recommend the Nannio from Amazon.
I use a $100 Foscam ipcam plus baby monitoring app on android/iphone (Tinycam Pro/Baby Monitor for IP cam). Works a treat
We have two. You can link them together so you can view both cameras via one monitor.
Pros: PTZ, not connected via internet, temp sensor, range is ok.
Cons: quality isn't the best.Any similar deals?
Interested! based on reviews its not looking good though! Do you have any first hand experience?
