  These are great for on-the-go monitoring (visiting friends/family, holiday getaway) when using a powerbank for the camera. No need to rely on available WiFi.

  We love this as our monitor. Basic, no frills, but does the job. Yes you can get clearer video. Yes you can get fancy wifi ones that will also connect to your phone or have pan and tilt features, but its really not needed.

  This has video, the audio is good for listening in. The monitor unit has good battery life, and the whole thing can be run via a USB cable and power bank for on-the-go use if you need it.

  Cheap, cheerful, and durable.
