Was having lunch at Oporto Melbourne central and they had the $10.50 Hoyts ticket deal. Not exactly bargain-bargain but if you need to eat before heading off to the movies, might as well ;)

And all charge at a premium for what is in essence fast food/junk food
Actually Grill'd is pretty good. Way better than Maccas' and Nando's burgers.

alot of food shops have deals with the cinemas. I know mad mex at macqaurie has a deal for $24 or something for a meal and movie ticket. too bad their food sucks.
also… drink shops (as in EasyWay and Boost Juice Bars) are offering movie combos. Example, shops infront of Event Cinemas in Macquarie Shopping Centre, NSW
Or you could just buy 10 tix at Hoyts for $100, I think that deal is still on, plus you can add the points for your $100 purchase into your member/rewards card..
i think grill'd is also offering cheap movie tickets with meal purchased
