    A free tree would please a lot of people and given this is Ozbargain then this constitutes as such.

    I wonder if the real reason they are giving them away though is so Coles don't have to pay to dispose of them.

    Maybe I'm cynical but I'm sure Coles aren't doing this out of the goodness of their heart.

        Not likely to be many still searching for a tree on Christmas Day. Some people do take them down early too, rather than wait out the traditional 12 days. But, I imagine free today will have a few takers. Good on them for being practical.
