I know eBay is notorious for selling fake memory cards but shoppingsquare has a solid reputation among whirlpool/ozbargain and are reliable.

  • I thought they were persona non grata?

class 4 is not exactly fast.

Sure, they aren't fast enough to record HD Video. But generally micro sd cards are used in phones/tablets purely as storage, and a class 4 is proably the perfect balance between read/write speeds and price.

      • They're fast enough for HD video. I use a class 4 card in my sony camera which does 1080p25 just fine.

Even the Sony NEX-FS100 uses a 28Mbps bitrate at 1080p60, which is slower than the class 4 spec.

    LOL yeah right?

Here's a 13 page, around 200 comments complaining about their recent Samsung f**k up.

    • I agree, this is hardly a 'deal' anyway.

What does that have to do with the authenticity of their memory cards?

  • This isn't a deal, it's been this price for weeks, ApusAuction (SS) were selling these for $48.95 a week ago but don't know what happened to that deal. But this is still a decent card overall especially for android roms as these have good random write speeds.

  • lol SS is back! oh dear……

the first microsd i bought from SS came in a small normal letter mail, it does not come with the full packaging just take note.

  • General question, Why does everyone quote Staticice as a comparison for every deal?

    • Well it lists real stores so anything there is covered by warranty and the stores there are all in Australia. Might not be the cheapest though but it's a good place to start.

  • I just bought one, the first thing I'll be doing when it arrives though is copying 32gb of data onto it to make sure this thing checks out. I am still slightly skeptical, my golden rule is to always buy flash memory from a physical store and from a reputable brand…
