Fun little puzzle game, best played co-op with friends. Not the cheapest it has been according to Deku Deals ($5.39) but pretty close. Just in time for the Christmas break.

Note for collectors: This is coming out as a physical release (previously code-in-box at EB Games) in Q1 of 2020.
Australian devs too!
Maaaaate :)
Great co-op puzzler party game, aussie devs - buy it, support it! :)
thank you!
Yep, fantastic game. I feel this game is worth full price, a lot of multiplayer fun!!
Have you checked out their other game, Super One More Jump? It's even simpler but also fantastic fun in multiplayer.
Also on sale ;)
Are you able to gift digital downloads on the Nintendo store?
As yet there's no way to gift digital purchases, short of buying a download code in places like EB Games. You can, however, grab eShop currency cards and gift one of those. The sale on Death Squared ends in January, so if it's a Christmas present, there's plenty of time. Plus there's supposedly a huge Christmas sale starting on the eShop later today/tomorrow.
Thanks! Yeah no gifting right now :(
Made by aussie devs too right?
Yep that's us. We're in Sydney.
I posted about this and our other 2 games here

Loved the game guys!
Puzzles were good and entertaining, good humour to boot
Hey I could be wrong but I think it's Aussie Devs who made this game?
Yep that's us. SMG we're in Sydney and Melbourne.
I posted about it here but OP beat me to the Death Squared punch :)

Its pretty expensive as a physical game…
That's the collectors/limited edition. Small runs = higher costs.
Bought! Thanks OP
Thank you!
Sorry in advance for the beginners questions.
I just bought a Switch for the family but we will only open it on Christmas day (Mario Kart download code bundle).
Can I ask about the main differences between downloads from eShop and the physical ones? Do we need to pay the eShop subscription to retain access to these eShop downloads? The difference is that a digital purchase cannot be resold later, whereas a physical can be resold. Plus, there are collectors out there who like the physical case and card. Therefore if you sold your switch, you can't sell your digital downloads. Unless you buy another switch, you can re-download your digital purchases on it with your Nintendo account.
The main difference is digital has the convenience of switching games without switching the cartridge, and having your games with you without having to carry the cartridges. Physical has the ability to lend games to your friends (easily), or resell / trade them in if you dont want them anymore (can't sell / transfer digital games).
No you dont need an eShop subscription (there is no such thing - using the eShoo is free). There is Nintendo Switch Online subscription, but that is a different thing (for online multiplayer, cloud saves, free NES/SNES games, etc).
Do we need to pay the eShop subscription to retain access to these eShop downloads?
No.
There is a separate subscription service called Nintendo Switch Online, which is mainly used for online multiplayer (nothing related to eshop purchases in this case).
So it is something like digital purchases are non-transferable.
From the replies I can assume that once downloaded it can be played offline.
I should be able to save the digital downloaded games on the 128gb microSD we bought to use with the Switch. Thanks for all the responses guys. It has made it much clearer.
Thanks. Looks great for a ~$5 download.
thanks. At that price it's a bargain. Made is in Aus. So an… oz bargain!
OK i'll see myself out
Oh you beat me to it posting :) thanks!
