Somthing is wrong with the listing. In stock, then unavailable, then back to stock.

I refreshed page for listing to be available.

  • Seems like it's out of stock?

  • They probably realised it was too cheap

  • Just wondering for the next time a deal for this game comes up, is it worth getting? Heard this new Beyond version is suppose to be much improved

It's the base game just with the free update I think

It's ok but I'd prefer PC version

      • Oh right, I thought the updates makes a ton of difference.

Just thought I'd give it a run if it's cheap.

They do, there have been massive improvements

          • @dav3: Dumb question but is this game any good if I'm not so interested in the multiplayer part of it? Is there a single player experience in this game ?

            • @phxsun: Most of the game is a single player experience. Decent multiplayer support was only added recently

            • +1

@phxsun: I'd highly recommend it as a single player experience - that's how I play it. I think it might still need to be online, though - I'm not sure if it will play offline even for single player.

I really like it - it's just a nice, chilled out exploration / crafting kind of thing. A little bit of combat but nothing too strenuous and it's pretty easy to avoid a lot of it if you want to. It's the kind of game I dip in and out of. I'll play it a lot for a week or two, then get distracted by other games, then come back to it a couple of months later and smash it for another week or two etc etc.

@AngusD: Plays offline fine, they only added multiplayer in one of the recent updates.

    • It's ok, but it is a niche market game so investigate if it is your style.

This is a free update for those that already have No Man Sky's?

    • Yep

  • No more Man

Interesting they're marketing this free update like a new game..

All the changes have been significant since the original release. It really could be a new game but they did the right thing by existing owners by making everything a free upgrade.

      • true but I bought vanilla NMS back in July for $10 brand new - if people want to reward Hello Games for their work fair enough, but people should know they can get the plain copy for ~$10 and upgrade it to Beyond for free.

I had a look on ebay now but I can't see it at $10 price anymore, seems the marketing/hype has increased the value. But back in July that's what it was worth, plenty of listings at that price back then.

  • is the game good now? i remember the craziness from the launch..

      Yeah it's improved a lot

Seems to be In Stock under a different version:

All of the upgrades in the Beyond version are free for this version.

After you add delivery JB is cheaper ($19 - if you are happy to get in person).

It's eligible for free delivery with Amazon Prime

  • Good game, worth the $17

    I think they're price-matching BigW @ $17 https://www.bigw.com.au/product/no-man-s-sky-beyond/p/64019/

I bought it a BigW for this price minus 5% gift cards during black friday sales.

    • Really should be supporting the first price movers on this… whilst we still have Australian Retail.
