    Thanks @MSG, as I'm already a Google Play Family Subscriber they said they will be sending me one free, bloody brilliant!!
    Though unfortunately I just bought 2 the other day, which they have now arrived and they play stereo music seamlessly in my kitchen, the quality of sound is quite good. I would recommend anyone getting a freebie Nest Mini buying another one and pairing them for stereo sound.
    I really like it as the new Google Nest Mini speaker works a lot better than my old Google Home mini.
    To all those people that complain that only new subscribers get the good stuff, here is an example of a company looking after their loyal customers.
    Though in saying that I can't imagine I would have ever found this promo without coming across it on OzBargain!!

    To fellow Indian subscribers…how do you manage your Play Store because mine is set to India so I can't install some of the Australian apps. The way around this is to add another Google account to the Play Store and switch to that but I am wondering if there is a way to bring my original account back to AU and still have Indian YouTube Premium subscription?

      i was on a family plan already,..stupid me should've maxed users out from the jump. I only had myself and my wife. we each claimed one, but after linking another 2 emails, i got errors for there out. you have to have had GPM or YTM prior to mid september

    Just upgraded my account to a family account but offer keeps saying other members are not eligible.
    T&C say only family account manager is able to claim

      ye T&Cs say only Account managers can claim but i also did it with my wife's account which is feeding off mine…you will struggle to be eligible to claim more though because other users were not linked to GPM or YTM prior to mid september. Only thing i can think of is maxing out my users with random accounts in hopes of another freebie.

    This doesn’t even show up on my hacked version of YouTube on my iPad and iPhone, side loaded on builds.io, that is tricked into thinking I have premium.

    Can someone explain how one of these is better than just using Google Assistant on your Android phone? Every time a deal comes up I check it out but can't see the benefit. Not trolling, I just genuinely don't get it!

      Sound is better than a phone's speaker, and it means I don't have to use my phone. But yeah, it just depends which suits you better.

      i have one in every room pretty much. On my way to my ensuite i'll yell out to google to turn my bathroom heater on. I ask it the forecast and live traffic in the morning before i head off to work, and i have them all linked via 'Home Group' so i can play music throughout the home. It's just easier than trying to have your phone out ready.

    I'm paying $11.99 per month for Google Play music + YouTube Premium.
    That's the same price as Spotify premium.
    I'm not sure why most people have Spotify when Google has a better deal.

    Anyone have any more expansive T's & C's than the OP? Spent a while chatting with a Google rep earlier and was told that I wasn't eligible despite having an Australian account because they were billing me in NZD. No idea why they were billing me in NZD as I've never lived there and the rest of my services are all billed correctly! The rep didn't have a copy of the T's & C's to confirm but was obstinate!

    Direct link worked for me. I'm the family head of a Youtube Premium plan that's been active for nearly 2 years (more if including the free trial). Asking the other family members if they have access to it now. A couple of them are Ozbargainers so let's see if they see this deal 😁

      I'm paying in NZD for some reason and the Rep I spoke to said changing the payment country wouldn't make me eligible. Apparently the only way to change countries for your premium subscription is to cancel and then subscribe again

    Got one, and have a family membership so tried the others - three worked, one didn't (perhaps because they are younger managed account). Had a spare slot so added one more person in, but that wasn't eligible either apparently (probably because it was added in after the promo started). Anyhow, four 'free' minis is still a win!

      We got 2 under the family plan, 3rd member who's under 13 was ineligible. After adjusting their date of birth, waiting a couple days, my now 13 year old was able to get one free as well.
