At Chemist Warehouse if you find a cheaper price on the same item at another Australian Registered Pharmacy or Australian Registered Retailer we will match it and give you 10% off the difference.

  • how to get this? it shows unavailable

    • Your Woolworths store set on the site doesn't have it. Mine does.

      • i don't 100% trust the online stock chcker.

I was looking at some deli prawns on special said in stock, went there said they never stocked that specific b4

    • Look around, lots of stores have stock at time of posting. But even better, just walk into a Chemist Warehouse store with your mobile on the Woolies site, show the salesperson the price, and walk out with a tub for $7.60 :)

      • I tried… It showed unavailable.. No price or anything.

          • @tightarse: Got it! Thanks TA. I dont know if i should be scared tho. Coz ww website shows $10 when I am at the chemist warehouse close to the ww with stock! That means ww tracked my location and update it at its website rather than unavailable.

        • +1

Scroll down a little further and you should see a Check stock in our stores. It's what I get logged out.

      • they call the store to confirm stock at the ones I try at

Meh, nan ranks pretty low on Chinese market that's why woolies offload it at this price

Goodluck price matching at chemist warehouse. Had the hardest time price matching the Oral B toothbrush even tho it met all the t&cs

    • +15

      Yep. They’re pricks.

      • +1

thanks for standing up! Needed some good advice with medicine and they ended up selling me useless overpriced rubbish! Later ordered what I wanted online and even later got a real good product in the USA.

    • +7

      400% agree.

      • +4

sometimes they only "pricematch" without the 5% difference. i cant be bothered after checking receipt for few cents, mega pricks

    • +1

Weird, I've price matched in-store numerous times and have never had an issue. I just show them the item listing, they mark down the store name and price and it automatically adjusts, only a few times has the manager been called over to confirm the price match.

      • +6

It's fine when it's a few dollars, but when you price match something they sell for $35 to $10, they'll make up excuses.

        • +11

Also the attitude of staff, just make u feel very uncomfortable when you ask for price match. But Officeworks is totally different, staff in OW are very nice.

        • See here.

          • +2

@tightarse: Just because one person got lucky doesn't mean everyone will be able to do it. Last time i even have a receipt to show them and they decline to price match cause the other store "went against head office instruction".

  • +3

Price matched at chemist warehouse but told cant go under the giving price. Price beat not possible, sales girl was terrible

  • +2

Well done OP. just smashed chemist warehouse Altona north. Didn't know what hit them. Was expecting them to put up a fight but they matched it and gave the difference.

    • Any left there? It's my local too. Any restriction on number you can get?

      • There was 2 left. There's the Altona gate store also but not sure of their stock Lev. No restrictions. I bought 4

    • Can you message me the receipt I'll got tomorrow and try my luck
Was there any left in altona?

      • I'm unsure how to post a pic. There was 2 left when I was there. There is the Altona gate store as well. I was at the hoppers crossing store the other day for a prescription and my Lord that's the biggest store ever so I assume they have stock(it's a distribution center store)

  • +3

Sheesh, lucky it's not A2 formula on sale. There'd be stampedes, riots and deaths!

    • right

    • Why should they drop price this low if it is something in so high demand?!?

The only time that A2 will drop price this low is with short dated which daigou will want it. Which show the stupid shop manager have no idea doing their job properly.

Next time maybe don't try to act smart if you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.

      • Yeah, I'm not sure you understood what I was saying, so I'll leave it at that. I'm a long term A2 shareholder, so it's fair to say I have some idea what I'm talking about ;)

Slow down your child's development from day 1 with Nestle!

    • +2

I know you're kidding (and that breastfeeding is best where possible), but on day 1 my wife was unconscious so the nurses handed me little bottles of Nestle Nan formula to feed our son. That mostly continued for the first few days until she could breastfeed. She's fine now. He's now 5 months and forging ahead. Strong and smart. Although when he occasionally gets formula now it's Aptamil :)

  • No problem price matching at Strathfield nsw store. Bought three.

    • Did you just show screenshot on the phone?

  • All those comments on Daigou only show how stupid the commenters are: if it gets so cheap you know why.

    • Yet they don't know that they are stupid, they think they are smart with such comment.

    • +3

But its not the point they are making though.

Point is why does any baby formula in australia be hoarded by the few for profit when consumers here simply cannot purchase it because the daigou got all the stock. Last i check not like these families here could stockpile these just so they can make sure they dont run out of a particular baby formula for their own baby.

      • Last i check not like these families here could stockpile these just so they can make sure they dont run out of a particular baby formula for their own baby.

        1) families with babies should be planning well ahead for baby formula, they've had 9 month's notice..
        2) if you need it, go to your local pharmacist and form a relationship. They're going to put some aside for you if you tell them..

Or you can run a sob story about how you couldn't get what you want because the daigous got to it first at woolies everytime

        • +1

Obviously not a parent and or don't have a clue..

        • no, fact is, they shouldnt have to do that. if you are in australia then respect the fact that Australians should come first as is their way of life and culture / society. Being a foreigner, its the act of some selfish foreigners looking to make a quick buck at the expense of everyone else and the idea of Every man for himself that gives all Foreigners a Bad name.

          • @lonewolf: LOL, the Chinese probably learn from the Aussies in Kuta about respecting local culture, right? And you do know they are not necessarily foreigners? The fact is these people are just making money out of opportunities they find - there's nothing illegal about what they do. I say good on them for being smart about it.

Its no different to the big bosses who make the most out of loop holes all the times to reap the most benefit they can. If you want to be ethical all your life, go for it.. but the truth is there are people benefiting day in day out by throwing ethics out of the window (unfortunate yes, but its the fact). Most of them are just not in the spotlight.

            • @John: No the fact is that you are apologizing to be Australian and apologizing to be a male

          • +2

            @lonewolf:

no, fact is, they shouldnt have to do that.

If you are on Ozbargain then respect the fact that OzBargainers should come first as is their way of life and culture / society. Being a lurker, its the act of some selfish lurkers looking to make a quick buck at the expense of everyone else and the idea of Every man for himself that gives all Lurkers a Bad name.

P.s. Australians having access to stock has absolutely nothing to do with our culture, unless you mean we, as a country have been spoilt so silly to expect things on a silver platter, where we need it, when we need it, without giving consideration of other market forces at play?
I guess it's also part of the Australian "way of life and culture /society", that when another party takes the convenience away, instead of formulating methods as workarounds, we just chuck a tantrum instead? (heard of pre-orders? e.g. iPhone release lines at the Apple Store? When you could have pre-ordered it at DJs/JBhifi and pick it up the same day?)

I thought we were Gerry Harvey certified professionals..

  • are they all out of stock?

is the organic toddler one worth getting for $20 plus price beat?

  • +2

chinese are not interested in NAN hence the cheap price

  • Apparently woolies won't sell more than two and when i questioned she said its a law and government policy. I laughed at her and left because i didnt want to make a scene. I had four in my hands. This was at lidcombe woolies.
