I know this post has been flying around last 2 days.

Some of you have issue with over-charged $157 instead of $143. I'm struggling with it either. I bought one and they charged me $157 (but I already make a claim through Paypal)

Today I try again with Code SPEAKER20, but i don't know what it does. Price now even goes down to $101.97.

Please note: voucher codes are case sensitive.

Method 1

What I did. I install Honey add-on into Chrome, when adding speaker to cart and use Honey, It drops down to $101.97 by itself. Wondering if this is price error. Pay with PayPal.

Method 2

Open two tabs to the deal. In tab 1, click Buy Now to add product and go to cart. Switch to tab 2 and go to cart. Enter coupon code HOLIDAY15 and apply. Switch back to tab 1, enter coupon code SPEAKER20 and apply. Proceed to checkout and pay with PayPal. (Thanks to OO.)

    I am one of the purchasers who decided to cancel the order after hearing the price was not $101.97 on the phone.Gonna call them today to place a new order if possible. This price error ends up to an Ozbargain group buy:D

  • Any one else not had any further correspondence since the initial order? Going by other comments it looks like you have until 31st December to confirm your order. I'm not going to call today because it looks like they are getting hammered.

    • Gonna wait too…seems everyone is getting the same response that everything is ok and they will ship them next week. If it doesn't show up next week I'll call them.

    Wonder what the situation is for those of us who ordered something other than the Soundlink Mini II

    • I ordered the home 500.
      $319.19 in PayPal but still authorizing.
      Got an invoice couple days ago for $450 something.
      No shipping notification.

    • I received the same email stating they will honor the price on my order for Home 300. Will call Monday as the call volumes must be crazy.

    • I have received my order of home speaker 300 yesterday. However, the invoice is 260 but the transaction is 160 pending in my bank acc. I don't know what to do next. I need to call Bose for my 102 deal and 142 deal as well.

      • I ordered an Home 300 as well. The transaction just disappeared a few days ago from Paypal - gonna call Bose next week to find it out.

        28 degrees says purchase $319.19 but it hasn't completed.
        Invoice is $450.50.

    one of the 101 folks, paypal has now moved from pending to charged now. At this stage I have had no further emails since the original one

  • I received the same email about contact them. My paypal doesn’t show the purchase in activities. Ordered the 300

    After 95m waiting: they had to amend the price or their end ($240 or something) no need to provide anything else, the will charge with the original payment transaction.

  • After more than 90 minutes waiting, updating the credit card information, finally I was charged $101 from my card.

    Got an email, saying that they cancelled, and need to call to provide new credit card details.
    But from the responses so far, no one has given their CC details since their orders were ok?

    Do we need to do anything?

    • I had to give cc details as the consultant said that PayPal transaction did not go through.

      I have checked PayPal and there is no payment to Bose.

      • I am on the same boat as you.. however, is it not sounds dodgy for you? as they have taken your credit card details to process and cancelling the paypal order…

    • I gave the CC details.
      Initially when I checkout the order, I selected paypal, but paid through CC. And 2 days ago the transaction record disappeared. So I think that's why I need to update my card information. Anyway, it worths 90 mins waiting…

    Yeah they must be getting hammered at the moment, wld be a better idea to call on Mon - waiting 90mins is torture, made worse by the horrible waiting music.

    Have to say, if Bose is in fact taking the high road, they deserve praise

    Paypal payment confirmed, bank statement still showing as pending. No emails from bose apart from confirmation of order so far.

    paypal went through this morning (13th). The invoice number is now against the item in paypal, and is $101.
    No email from Bose yet about invoice/shipping/anything (apart from original order confirmation).
    No contact made with Bose at all.
    I'm now hopeful I'll get this order. Just patiently waiting to see while reading this rather entertaining thread….
    Makes the OzBargain that much more intense!!!

  • Ordered Two Speakers (Seperate Orders)

    10/12/19 Two Paypal charges pending.
    11/12/19 One Paypal Charge dissapeared
    12/12/19 Called Up and was told to email through confirmation emails. My case was then escalated.
    12/12/19 @10pm Received the email "An important update regarding your Bose order"

    13/12/19 After a two hour phone call:
    1x Speaker has alreay been dispatched after checking paypal the pament has now good though (Still pending on Bank account)
    1x Speaker I had to provide a card payment over the phone. (ETA 3-5 Business Days)

  • I've just had them on the phone…
    My understanding is that you need to call, they will then send the info to their back office team. I don't believe they'll honour it if you don't call (that was the feeling I got from the phone call).
    It looks like they are honouring the 101.97 price.

      Not exactly. I didn’t make any phone call or live chat, but mine has arrived. Got the invoice at 2am this morning then 9:30am received an email from StarTrack saying that my parcel is onboard for delivery and then received at noon. I paid by PayPal. The amount they charged was 101.97 same as the invoice. But my bank acct is still pending though.

      • They told me that my order was sitting in Pending because "the system" was waiting for the remaining balance to be paid… I assume that if it's not paid, or the issue isn't raised, the pending sale will just drop off.

        Maybe you got lucky?

    After 2:35 hour call [1:35 hour hold + 1 hour with the representative] to Bose customer service, they said they have to cancel my the paypal transcation order as there was some issue and had to be cancelled which was with Paypal and they have to process through my credit card..
    I was told to pay the same amount which was 101.97$ and I provided them with my credit card details to process the order. They have also given me the reference no's

    Delivery 4-5 days as the order was placed through phone and not via online (which would be 1-2 buiness days)
    no emails received yet.

    Hope this helps for others..

    After I hung up the call, I was thinking what if Bose cancel my credit card order ..
    Is this a dodgy trick they trying to cancelled the orders by taking it out from paypal Buyer Protection.? :/

    Made a deal with my cuz to be my phone b*tch (monitor the call to Bose) for one Pho at Pho An.

    Wait time 1 hr 58 mins

    BAM ! I basically oZbargained my cuz :)

    So I took over upon connection, waited for the lady to do her calcs, that took a while, with several moments of wondering if I just threw away a bowl of Pho.

    Eventually paid with CC for the agreed upon amt so all sorted now I think (fat lady sings when all speakers are in my possession)

    Delivery 3-5 days.

  • I ordered Bose Home 300 on 10th at around 2:30 PM

    Just to summarize what is happening (as per my understanding after making 2 phone calls and 1 chat conversation):

    Bose did a great job of acknowledging their mistake with their website and honored the price we got.
    Due to too many orders, they got out of stock on the products. They accepted the orders of as many people as possible supposedly based on time and may be based on the nearest location of the stock and if the payment was made through CC or a still valid Paypal transaction. They sent an email to the others (I am one of them and found Bose's email on the promotion section of gmail).

    So if you have received Bose's email then please do call them and if not then you will get the product delivered in a day or two (working day).

    • I think it depends on which customer service agent you get as to how much they're willing to tell you.

      I did online chat this morning and kept fishing for the reason my order hadn't been shipped yet (1x Soundlink Mini II) and the CS person wouldn't volunteer any information whatsoever. They kept saying they'd sort it out, but I gave them a bit of a hard time and told them to just ship the thing already.

      It's nice that they're seemingly going to honour the $101 price, but the way they're going about it is still a dogs breakfast.

      There's nothing showing on my CC statement, my PP transaction disappeared a few days like with others, but if I click on there reference link in the PP confirmation able from when I ordered, it still shows the transaction along with "Your payment method will be charged when Bose Pty Ltd completes your order."

      Then there's last night's email saying the order is cancelled and to contact them, do that but rather than reorder, CS peep is going to "take care of this for me" and it'll be another 3 to 5 days.

      It's all a bit messy.

  • Well, ordered tuesday, called wednesday, was told package should be shipped by friday (2x SoundLink Mini Bluetooth® speaker II, one in each colour). Paypal payment just vanished today as did my bank account. Currently on hold, theyve already hung up on me once..

  • Got my notification from Australia post app. No invoice or email from Bose yet.

    • Have you reordered on phone today or it was the pending 10th Dec transaction?

      • 10 Dec transaction. Did not call, chat or email them.

      • FYI I ended up having to call, despite being told the opposite earlier today via online chat.

    No invoice or whatsoever but I got a star track tracking number via AusPost app :) Cheers op.

    • How are you getting a tracking number via the app? All I get is the app asking me for a tracking number?

      • You have to be registered with Australia post and have verified your identity. Address, email and name you verified must be the same as order. Also must login into the app with same address.

          That's what kgb007 said. Sometimes AusPost doesn't necessarily have to detect your email address. On several occasion, I bought with two different email address, AusPost would still automatically match the address to your home address. And obviously, star track is under AusPost.

      I was about 3 minutes behind you. Just got off the phone with them and was told my order will be dispatched on the 17th of December. I should receive tracking details via email when it is dispatched

    Funny enough, downloaded the AusPost app and I can see tracking!
    However, I was left a slip yesterday for an AusPost pick up and it ain't in the system.

    I can see a tracking as well!
    But no where does it say from BOSE, it just says from distribution services - is that what everyone else's say?

            @Wizard: You my friend are a bloody legend. I have tracking notification and numbers start exactly like this. I have that many items getting delivered at the moment and was scratching my head as to what this was as I have no email notification from Bose (pretty much like everyone else…totally in the dark)

            @X3: PSA TO ALL BUYERS: Login to the Aus Post website and check if you can see the tracking number there.

            • @Wizard: That only works if you have an Auspost account and if you have your home address registered exactly as the one in your shipping address.

              If the slightest detail doesn’t match, then it won’t be added to your account.

    I called Bose and give my AMEX card detail to create a new order to be delivered to my address. It took total 1 hour 58 min 40 seconds including on-hold time. The customer service guy told me it is a very busy day for them to handle the massive call volume. Anyways, he said everything is good and expecting the delivery by next Tuesday or Wednesday.   • Where is this shipped from? Hopefully startrack will do weekend delivery.

    • Sydney. I’m in brisbane and it’s already at the Sydney facility, so maybe on the plane tonight and a Saturday delivery hopefully
