Good price if looking right now, went back up to the rrp of $400+ after the lows you mentioned around August, when they were $265ish.
Is this really worth it? With the price of the google nest mini, I would think buying multiple of those and grouping them would sound great.
The nest mini sounds great compared the old google home mini.
I’m not really sure how you think audio works, but no.
Maybe try daisy chaining 400 pairs of IPhone earbuds.
The gen2 nest mini sounds great though.
If I wanted better sound then that I would get a nest mini and bluetooth some nice speakers to it.
I don't think you'll get the same sound by having a bundle of minis. But Bluetoothing a decent speaker into the mix would be fine.

Except that will cost you more than $300.
Really? I havnt heard but cannot imagine new nest mini's sounding anything like the home max. IMHO is is a stereo replacer, it is in my house anyway. The minis are scattered around the house for individual or linked listening on the fly, but the max is definitely the goto "stereo". Been waiting for a price drop to pick up another one.
anybody running two of these in stereo pair for TV?
No good as a stereo pair for any av output as there is a noticeable lag of audio vs video when pairing connected via the 3.5mm jack. Let to be fixed by Google but they say a fix of the firmware is in the works… Works fine as audio only…
How noticeable is the audio lag when using tv 3.5 output to Google Home Max?
Sorta repeat. Other one is from OW. Merge?
