      The fact this has a "balance kit" is a worry - most of the brand name fans have the blades pre balanced.

    I would say build quality is good. I've had ceiling fans from Beacon Lighting before which were rubbish.
    It is quiet at low settings - what I mostly use it for. At higher settings with the shorter pole, there is a lot of wind noise. It certainly does push a lot of air around.
    The LEDs are bright. The remote works well. Battery not provided which is a big disappointment.

  I bought a few. These are DC fans and nothing else seems to be as cheap. Oh well, here's hoping Amazon makes it good if anything goes pear shaped. Having said that, the seller looks to be quite a large mob on AliBaba.

    Same price as Aldi, although Aldi ones on sale for 149.

    Aldi has 2 year in home warranty with additional 3 on the motor. This only has 1 year on motor. Terrible warranty IMO
