The best password manager around (in my opinion) can be had for 20% off thanks to Black Friday. Includes a slew of other features such as random password generator, digital wallet, password leak monitoring, VPN protection and much more. It also has addons for all browsers and apps for all mobile platforms to help simplify your life.

Dashlane is an online security accessory that helps you safely preserve your passwords and other sensitive information. You can use its base free version, or upgrade to Dashlane premium for access to a VPN service and unlimited free password manager to help protect your accounts.

Dashlane also provides a digital wallet service that allows for fast checkout on any website, from anywhere. Only you have access to your payment information and details which you can auto-fill on websites to make paying and checking out much easier.

I've currently got ~260 passwords and only a couple of them are the same (mostly due to shitty apps that don't have webpages) so this is a very handy service.

NOTE: You must pay for Premium inside the app and input this code inside the app itself as the website doesn't seem to work.

  • I vote for Lastpass free version. Like Dashlane free it has password access over internet and syncs across all devices. It works on iOS with touch and FaceID.

But Dashlane free is limited to 50 passwords - Lastpass free is unlimited.

    • I've been using Bitwarden, also free. But I find a lot of sites it doesnt autofill in Brave browser. Do the other solutions have this problem as well, or do they have better autofill?

  • Personally I didn't like Dashlane compared to LastPass but now I've moved to Enpass where the database is stored in a file where you decide to store it. You can integrate with Google Drive or Dropbox etc but it just stores the encrypted file.

And the free version does everything you need but I for Premium for $10 to support them.

  • For sure not cheap, but premium now gives you access to their (basic functionality) VPN, so that is worth putting into the mix too if you need a VPN and don't yet have one.

  • Check out bitwarden. Free option and can self host it.
