Very good price for 9 hours batt, 1GB dedicated graphic card and 750GB HD laptop. Just to clarify the graphic card is GT 520M not 540 version
I cant honestly believe it's 9h. Otherwise I'd be all over it. Marketing fuzz, I'd guess it's 4h.
Negative. Look at the review. It says 7-8 hours for net surfing and DVD.
Yeah I was just reading the review. The little edit button is gone now though.
Where does it says there is an Acer cashback of $99? I couldn't find it anywhere on Good Guy's website. Thanks for any enlightenment.
I went to the shop and it has the cash back tag there. I also checked the acer cashback website. 100% sure that it has the acer cashback.
good deal. i got the model before this one with the i5 480m, 750g hd and radeon 6550m for 590 after 99 cashback. but for 40 dollars more i'd rather get this with the gen 2 processor.
would you rather a better cpu over a better gpu?
the 6550m advantage over the 520m would be much greater than the advantage of i5-2410 over i5-480m
It's a GT540 2GB.. Not a GT520??
So it's quite a bit quicker then the AMD/ATI card.

the MNBB (in the OP) = 1GB 520M —> http://www.acer.com.au/ac/en/AU/content/model/LX.RHQ02.017
however the equally RRP priced MLBB = 1GB 540M —> http://www.acer.com.au/ac/en/AU/content/model/LX.RHJ02.010
So you're saying my eyes and the review are wrong??
It's 2gb gt540. Beleeb meh!
that review is not an aussie model
Do not forget $50 off for Amex holders
@Koonit why are you so stubborn? it is exactly what CVonV said
just because the op posted a link to a review of a laptop with the same model number doesnt necessarily mean it is the same laptop
the review is from a non australian website
check the australian acer website, it clearly states it has a 520m
and where do u see 2gb? the catalogue clearly shows "1GB GRAPHICS CARD"!
and whoever negged my comment. the obvious choice is: better gpu over better cpu which the 5820tg has
don't worry i offsetted ur neg :)
lol @ how i got negged too.. haha oh well what can ya do
I got this one for $790 from the GG and it has better Graphics Card and bluetooth.

It's also eligible for $99 cashback.
Wonder if and at what price they'd do the 3830tg for..
