I would have bought it if it had dual sim and better res. You're better off buying the s10.
Do most people even bump up the resolution to 1440?

you should know that resolution hardly affects battery, so much can be done without modifying the resolution to conserve battery
I always use the max resolution on every samsung phone i've had, because i paid the big bucks for the best android phone on the market
that goes for the s7 edge, s9, and now my s10+
all were fantastic, only the s9 didn't have a good enough battery at allI refuse to run my s10+ on anything less than WQHD unless I need to conserve power, I bought this phone to have the best of the best screen so to me it's pointless not using it

Good points. It’s just little let down for such a big display to have such a basic resolution. No wonder why it’s price line has dropped significantly compared to S10 series.
S10+/S10 > Note10 (given you dont care about the s pen)
Yeah I almost got hooked buying one. MicroSD support is biggest for me.
The note 10+ doesn't have a headphone jack either though.
These points were deterring me from getting one and was leaning towards a used note 9 in excellent condition for $689.
I looked at note 10 in store and found the 1080p more than sufficient.
256gb storage compared to my 64gb pixel 2xl which I haven't filled half of so no issues there.
I have a separate cheap small Nokia with 1 week battery for our business, not a deal breaker.
Battery will get me through a day, not a heavy user.
Screen size is actually bigger than my 2xl although pixel 2xl has larger footprint. I actually find note 10 to be an excellent size and can be used single handedly.
Headphone jack not an issue as I don't listen to music and have wireless headphones anyway.
Most of all I miss the stylus on my note 3 as I do need to write notes on photos I take when measuring signs for customers.
Lastly, the price of 850 with gst coming back from TRS seals the deal.

Ordered from Amazon (back order) for cashback. Will claim TRS and I think invoice less than $900 will make things easier. Can cancel easily as well if there is a new better deal :D Just need to wait until Dec 10.

I think so. Consider better battery life and camera.
Note 10 is smaller, so more friendly to use with one hand. It also has the pen. One month ago it was more expensive than P30 Pro.
I bought P30 Pro 2 months back when it went to $870 after cashback. The 10x zoom is great. Other than that, I would go for the Note 10.

At this price point, I'd like to get one for my wife but I wonder how much I could get for her iPhone X 256GB. The phone is in perfect condition(zero scratches) and is still under warranty.
