  In my case, the post said that they will require someone 18+ to sign but the delivery guy left the box in front door without signature…

  Totally depends on the postie.
  
  For me, the local Amazon dude is sick of me not being home, so he doesn't even bother ringing the bell, just leaves it.

    tbh most of these delivery guys in my experience never bother ringing, just throw the slip in the letterbox and call it a day. The amount of times ive been home waiting for them to knock/ring just to find a slip in the letterbox later that day is truly annoying. That's kinda why i ask, i dont fancy going down to the post office to get something this bulky
