  The sample photos in the 5th image were not taken on this microscope, and are also used by a range of other vaguely similar products

  One appears to have been taken with an electron microscope?
  -you won't get anything this clear, and also will have a very shallow depth of field, so you'll need to use image stacking software in photoshop./

  Strange to use a usb cable for power, but photos have to be stored on a TF (micro SD) card.

    Yes it is not a real microscope, it has a 5mp camera sensor and they use digital zoom.

    Your phone camera probably has twice the resolution so yeah, it would be better.

  Hard to believe they are still in business. Bought a camera flash from Tomtop years ago - broken soon after arrived. It costed about $40 for the international return - tracking information showed it was delivered and signed. Then they stopped responding - complete silence from them.
