    Deep Cycle AGM Batteries

Is this the same one used at the Telstra AGM ?

    • Doubtful unless telstra is using glass mats :)

      • Not sure if you are joking about the telstra annual general meeting or asking a serious question about telstra selling off exchange batteries… :)
Not sure the specs on the telstra batteries sorry.

    • I don't know for sure but I bet its a junk battery. Usually you can get a good idea from the weight of the battery but this one funnily enough doesn't mention the weight.

      • but clicking through to see if I can find a more reasonable comparison i found a cheaper price for the actual seller on ebay (with the ebay prince voucher). Bit annoyed i didnt check.

        • Got a link? This is usually normal price for these batteries too. I've been looking for a while abs they are constantly 33% off.

Have 2 of the 130AH in an offroad camper trailer. Err they aren't junk, seller has been around awhile, and only sells battery related gear. The 130AH ones are somewhere around 32kg IIRC.

This "special" has been going on a long time :)

Check out the reviews from that seller. Sounds like their batteries are pure crap.

I'm tempted for the price (the 170ah ones even more so) but the overwhelming negative reviews make it not even worth the hassle of a paypal dispute.

      • I wouldnt buy these myself anyway, might as well go to a local shop in WA Canning Vale (YHI Power Pty Ltd).

    • Sorry for putting that link up, Ive now read those reviews :o

This isn't the shipped price to WA. $57 shipping surcharge.

    • Yea. Usually cost more to ship overseas.

    • You think $57 is too much? Mine shows $68…

      • I'm about halfway between you both, $63.85.

Boris "The Blade" Yurinov: Heavy is good, heavy is reliable. If it doesn't work, you can always hit 'em with it.

    • No one else got that obviously…

      • sorry no :(

  • Should weigh around 42kg for 140ah.

  • What about these ones: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/170A-AGM-12V-DEEP-CYCLE-BATTERY-…

170A AGM 12V DEEP CYCLE BATTERY SEALED CAMPER TRAILER for $165.

suspicious. If it doesn't specify a shipping weight id not trust it.
