Just saw this in the new K-Mart catalogue, the Nerf Maverick for only $8.00.
Usually they retail between $14-$20. Even during the recent toy sales they weren't this cheap (closest was Big W at $8.74). Some stores still have the packaging with the 6 extra darts, so you'll get 12 darts total instead of the standard 6.

I have almost every Nerf gun available, and the Maverick is (in my opinion) the best in terms of price-to-performance. And it's great for office/classroom Nerf wars :-)

Also good deals on the Nerf Raider ($29) and Nerf Vulcan ($39)

      It is actually quite 'Nerfy'. You don't pump it like a Super Soaker. You pump it once to load the dart, then pull the trigger. You can hold down the trigger and continually pump out darts (Nerf calls this feature "Slam Fire"). The good thing about the Raider is it comes with a 35 dart clip (the largest capacity clip in the Nerf range) which is compatible with other Nerf Clip-System guns like the Recon, Longstrike, Longshot, Alpha Trooper or Stampede.

      maybe mine was a dud but i found the performance inconsistent, dart mags a bit tight to remove, prone to jamming. pump action was a lot of fun. i like the shoulder stock and drum mag so i kept those for myself and sold the gun to friends.
