Spotted this on Build a PC Sales Australia. Seems to be the lowest price for a 2070 Super?

I thought I got a deal for my 2070S for 800$…
Great price!
Is this better than 5700XT?
Yes by about 15%
https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/AMD-RX-5700-XT-vs-Nvid…
That should help
Userbenchmark are fanboys/shills of Intel and I wouldn't trust them for anything anymore even graphics cards. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q4YmHO9U-Vg
and OzB is a fanboy site for AMD
Yes, but not by much (5-10%). It'll also have ray tracing if that matters to you. Overall, if it was between this and the 5700 XT at the same price, the 2070 Super is generally the better pick.
5700XT is way cheaper for a small drop in overall performance as OZB have had it for <$600!
In fact with GFX you can get a whole PC for not much more than this offer, checkout https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/497836
I think I would prefer this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GIGABYTE-RTX-2070-SUPER-WINDFORC… for a few extra dollars.
On the plus side, that one also has USB-C… on the downside (for ITX users) it's 280.35mm vs 268mm for the Inno3D one
How much better is that one? What is the difference between those?
ThxMostly it's just that Gigabyte is generally regarded as the more reputable brand.
The Gigabyte also has 100mm fans (assuming it's the dual fan model) vs 90mm for the Inno3D. Theoretically, this should mean better cooling at same noise level, but obvioiusly also dependant on heatsink, thermal pads, etc. so not certain.
Best to look up reviews, but tbh, they are probably both fine.Just got the gigabyte one. Apparently they are the 3 fans one just called them.
Ah so tempting, reckon there would be a better deal on black Friday etc?
Heres hoping. Holding off for now.
Ahhhh, im torn
Will this mine shitcoins? i want moon lambo.
Bought this exact card last week from be-start for $705. Was able to redeem Modern Warfare though so guess it brought it down to $610…
Did that have a list of eligible retailers or was it just done off the serial number?
Bonus games offer expired 18th Nov it seems
You really think modern warfare is $100 LOL
At this price it really is no competition from AMD RX 5700 XT.
Buy Nvidia and you would never go wrong.
Have a look at this if you are still not convinced :https://store.steampowered.com/hwsurvey/Steam-Hardware-Softw…
Uh, what?
I'm fairly certain performance per dollar wise they are still neck and neck, if anything the 5700xt offers more performance per dollar.
But you know what? Since more people own nvidia than amd, I'm absolutely convinced that the 2070 super is the better product…
Wondering what's "other" on the PC video card chart?
Ryzen's Vega 8 ?
Sorry, but this is so fundamentally wrong.
By your logic, only ever buy from the manufacturer that has historically sold more products, regardless of any other manufacturers that come along with a better product at a later date.
The 5700 series cards offer excellent value for money and bang for buck.
I could easily counter your steam survey point with this https://www.extremetech.com/computing/297627-amd-overtakes-n…This indicates that the new AMD graphics cards are so good they're actually selling more of them than Nvidia are, despite the fact that Nvida has the better name and an established client base.
I own a signage and graphics design company, our office PC's are heavily graphics dependant. I've moved away from Nvida to the 5700's on the latest round of rolling upgrades and can personally vouch for them being excellent cards.
As with any upgrade, do your due diligence and research, but a statement like "At this price it really is no competition from AMD RX 5700 XT" is demonstrably wrong and misleading.
Just for info, this price was jacked over night. I snagged one yesterday $631.20.
Would of been nice if you posted the deal
It was mentioned in the Gigabyte 2070 Super deal yesterday.
Wow almost 1080 ti performance for $655.20? YES PLEASE!!
Just a quick review on this card: It was a good RTX 2070S with a bit of coil whining and temp can be hot sometimes.
On normal gaming (Destiny 2, Rainbow 6 Siege) it can reach up to 78C.
I've tried to OC it a bit using Afterburner, but temp always reach around 90C on Firestrike test. Will this work on freesync 2 monitors? Looking at getting lg 34GK950F-B monitor
Yep, should do.
I’ve got that monitor. Definitely recommended.
this or 1080ti?
Don't know pricing but here's a comparison: https://gpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Nvidia-RTX-2070S-Super…
Obviously this card. Way better specs and newer design.
Very similar performance, if you dont want ray tracing then the 1080ti is still a great card (assuming your already own one).
If you are looking at buying, if they were the same price, 2070s is the better option, if you can find a 1080 ti for a few hundred $ cheaper then i would says thats a good deal still for sure.
Guys, I need some help… I can't seem to apply the code "PITCH20"
It says code can't be applied to my order, the same happened with the MSI 2080TI that was posted yesterday.

This card model basically can't really do anything better than the Founders Edition, often worse. The cooling is awful, and the deal isn't good enough to excuse that.
The 2060 Super version is $470 on their page too, which is much better value, but I expect the Gigabyte Windforce OC edition to get close to that number next week.
Do you know if Gigabyte have fixed their fans/bearings they use? My normal 2060 windforce is a bloomin nightfare of random rattles and noises - at my witts end to RMA it and buy something else with better cooling.
Try lifting up edges pointing towards the front, it may be sagging and you may need a brace for it.
Mate i've done ever hack i can think of to manage it this long. I could manage it before staying within certaim RPMs using afterburner or the odd nudge of the fan, but now no matter what its just varying degrees of irritation.
I’m just about to leave on holiday for 2 months from Monday. But I wanted to build a pc when I came back, I’m not sure if I should buy these cards now and finish my build when Im back, or if I should just get all my parts in January. Do you think these prices will get any lower?
Yes, if there's one thing you can rely on there is never urgency required when buying tech!
Yeah I was thinking they might be similar when I’m back. I’m just seeing all these sales and the normal price the cards go for so was thinking of getting one now to save $200
Wow that's I nice price for this card. I wish I could have the money to afford one of those.
